Most Americans are not tuning in to observe the intricacies of the testimonies and opinions, they can barely be bothered by the headlines. Trump is working it in twitter, pumping daily diarrhea to the masses, the networks are helping muddle the important stuff and the economy is doing great. I think the public is less and less encouraged to participate in politics given the rotten state it's in. I am not holding my breath for the voters to come out full force against him and so far haven't seen much enthusiasm for any candidate on the left. It's not looking good.

1. Call or show up at your local Democratic headquarters.

2. Find out what they need you to do.

3. For canvasing, they will send you to Democratic voters. You just knock on doors, hand out some info, and encourage them to vote. It's all about making sure the base comes out in force.

I got involved in the last two elections, felt like it did make a difference. If Dems go into next election feeling they don't have a chance they will have to work much harder.
