So, the shipping companies can trust (at best) that there are no mines 30 days AFTER the strait is “open” ?!

1) Iran’s DESIRE to promptly clear their own mines?
2) Iran’s ABILITY to promptly clear their own mines?

The successful prosecution of Trump in NY was proper and right. But as a first time offender everyone knew the sentencing for conviction would be a slap on the wrist. Trump had 3 other very serious felony indictments in 3 other jurisdictions. Those penalties would have been more severe and of course, Trump would not be a first time offender then
The corrupt and unconstitutional SCOTUS ruling absolutely saved Trump because it killed the other cases. Clarence Thomas single handedly killed the bathroom documents case. Which was the strongest. That is why Trump and Cannon still will not allow the release of Jack Smith's 2nd report.
If SCOTUS did not save Trump, he would not be president today. Most people are oblivious to the details of the SCOTUS ruling. They just felt that SCOTUS "completely exonerated" Trump of all wrongdoing.
SCOTUS ruling allowed very dumb Americans to assume that Trump's narrative was the better one. That it was all a political witch hunt. Ask anyone on the street any details about Trump's indictments and they will give a deer in the headlights look.
meh the NY prosecution only existed because they looked at trump and said 'we need to find something on this guy.'
which is exactly what he is doing and the Dems are rightly complaining.
I'm all for prosecuting trumpers post 2028 if they obviously broke the law, but it has to be real and not just because they are trumpers.
that NY prosecution was shameful.
It is common for a prosecutor to take down a guy on a crime spree by picking and choosing the crime that he can most easily win conviction on. And it needs to be straight forward and simple for a jury to understand. And the evidence needs to be understandable too. And it might seem very tame compared to other crimes he is widely known to be involved in. This happens every single day in courts across this fine country. There is nobody that can look at Trump's conduct and believe he does not operate a crime spree. And that his business fraud with the porn star is tame compared to overturning an election.
What Trump is doing to Democrats and Republicans that crossed him is completely different. He is targeting people with no crime spree by looking for technicalities that he came make crimes out of. And our system is clearly recognizing the difference. He is losing these cases. Hope it still holds
