And I never said that, you liar. You lie because you are unable to admit you are wrong.
You open your mouth without thinking. If most didn't pass him when he was walking (well, had the rest of the field also slowed to a walk out of respect?) then when did they pass him, since he was with the leaders at 10k. You are truly witless.
When he restarted running, at a much slower pace. You are witless and clueless, You are talking about a race you didn't even watch. You are also dishonest and a liar.
Adults usually admit when they are wrong. You show you can't. You said that and you were wrong.
He was with the front group till 10k. After that point, when he was on his hands and knees and then reduced to a walk for several minutes, he ended up 34th. Whether other runners mostly passed him when he was walking or merely shuffling to the finish, it hardly matters. You failed to get the point I was making. You always do. It doesn't make the race any less of an embarrassment. Or you.
It feels really weird that you keep using his half marathon performance as some sort of knock against his dominance as a distance runner. It's even weirder how much you exaggerate him pausing after breaking the Norwegian national record in the road 10k(2:45/km pace), he still finished the remaining 11.975km in 35:46(3:13/km). This was an elite field he hung with. Sebastian Sawe is arguably the best marathoner in the world right now
Is there a reason you keep posting this multiple times across multiple message boards while intentionally leaving out some key details. He won the diamond league 1500m less than 36 hours prior, while outkicking Hocker, Ngouse, and Cheriuyot. His time of 3:30:37 was the 17th fastest posted time of the season. Not a slow race by any stretch.
He decided the next morning to run the Copenhagen Half, a race that he neither trained for or tapered for. It's also 16km further than any race he trains for during the indoor or outdoor season. Stick to the main 1500m championships that he failed to win in the final meters if you insist on minimizing how great of a runner he is. Constantly reaching for his Copenhagen Half run shows more about your desperate obsession of Jakob than it does his limitations
Numbers up to 100? Your problems start at 3, there are many examples for this.
Percentages are for those who like to use them or for which there is the data to support them. They aren't a necessity in considering what is possible or even probable, and indeed they may assume an exactitude of measurement that doesn't apply. But a bean-counter like you won't know that.
It wasn't completely obvious. No world record is obvious, which is why there are quite a few he is nowhere near despite saying he wants them all. But I am impressed at what likely doping has so far enabled.
It was completely obvious that the mark is within his reach.
Nothing is obvious until it is achieved. By your argument the 1500 and mile records, as well as the 5k and 10k records aren't "obvious" - since they don't appear to be within his reach.
No, he doesn't. The measure of failing to win outdoor global titles in his main event for years on end says otherwise. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
For the last 4, 5 or 6 season he does - a fact. If you look only on the last 1, 2 or 3 seasons you can argue for Kerr or Hocker.
2021 is a long time ago in sports. Failing to win the big ones since then says he hasn't been the best since then - at each global championship another runner has been the best.
Clay changed his name to Muhammad Ali and continued his professional boxing career for years after under that name. Only someone with no knowledge of the history of the sport or a complete jerk would refer to him by a name he disowned.
You just did it here!
I didn't. I pointed out that the boxer once named Clay (that another poster referred to) changed his name to Muhammad Ali. Why do only the thickest posters here take issue with what I post?

You don't seem to realise that NO ONE responds to anything you post - unlike me. That must surely make you the most irrelevant and boring poster on Letsrun.

Excuses. None of that makes his HM (which he claimed is his "best distance") anything other than the embarrassment it was for him.

Lots of people respond to things I post. I post under a registered handle too, sweetie.
Whereas you were impressed with the intellectual level of the poster referring to Asserson.
If this is referring to me, I'm hurt. I thought it was a relevant and pithy remark and it also contained the word Asserson, which is always a bonus in my view.
