26 is NOT a kid- I was a parent at 26, you can serve in the military at 18. 26 may be "young" but he should not be qualified as a kid by any means. I wouldn't let my daughter within 10 feet of this group. And no she's not a kid at 21 either... Oregon track club and Univ of Ore should immediately distance themselves from this group. It's a very bad look. Some of the recruits that have signed with places like NAU etc are also jeopardizing their collegiate decisions. Guarantee the team at NAU doesn't want to associate with people that approve of Gay son or THOT daughter questionnaires. Yes I understand that didn't take place at the camp but it's still who you choose to associate with and support.

I'm not sure its fair to judge athletes that have done stuff with them in the past. I doubt they went through every piece of content they've ever made to see if it aligned with all of their views. I dont think Nikki Hiltz approves of the gay son/thot daughter question for instance.

Sure fair point and I'm not going to waste time looking at timelines to see when each video/photo shoot happened. But im a middle aged parent of an athlete and even I have seen the videos pop up on social media (instagram) or on here to know how bad they are. Guarantee these High School and college athletes see way more online than I do considering I don't follow You Tube or TikTok etc.. I haven't watched the Hiltz video? Did they participate to bring light to their views or was it immature ridiculous trash speak? I'd wager a guess on the former
In isolation it’s a little weird but completely harmless. When it’s a repeated pattern of behaviour though it’s a problem…especially when your job is mentoring teens.

Yes, to be clear, I'm not trying to make Matt (or anyone else from New Gen) into something they're not -- the full extent of their interactions with these kids isn't entirely clear and I'm not in a position to make any kind of personal judgement call.
That said, given the little glimpses into their behavior that we've seen in this thread, I think it's quite safe to say that New Gen has (generally) conducted themselves inappropriately. Any reasonable adult would agree, I think.
When you're an authority figure over minors (especially those that idolize you), you need to behave in a certain way -- for everyone's sake.
You shouldn't be making jokes/references about alcohol, "edibles," or other substances in relation to a youth camp.
You shouldn't be bragging about rating high schools girls.
You shouldn't be filling out sexually-explicit quizzes with kids.
You shouldn't be referring to other adult counselors as a kid's "love" in DMs.
You shouldn't be encouraging kids to "sexualize" other adult counselors in their writings.
You shouldn't be sending "kiss emojis" to kids on Discord.
All of this is REALLY easy to avoid doing for most people.
The actions of teenagers are sometimes completely illogical, and absurd, unjustified cruelty, I believe that it is necessary to work through such moments before their occurrence, and especially after committing, it can cause trauma for the whole life of the child....

What is clear is all those behaviors you listed are grooming behaviors. They can’t just be written off.
Does SafeSport monitor running camps? There needs to be an investigation into all this because Wisner and Crawford have been really creepy to these minors and have potentially provided them with alcohol at NXN according to many posters and rumors. If they did edibles with these kids that’s, again, a crime.
I’m also curious what Cole and Cooper think of this whole new gen scandal and if they’ll try to distance themselves from Crawford going forward like they did with Silva.
