In medicine, mechanistic theories are a dime-a-dozen. People make mechanistic claims about supplements, exposure, diet, etc. all the time... a plausible mechanism is not worth even listening to until there is experimental data to confirm the hypothesis the mechanism is supposedly supporting.

The neurotoxicity of aluminum is well established with experimental data.

I disagree to an extent, looking at studies through a Bayesian lens, The number of properly powered trials is determined by the prior probability which depends on the possibility of the mechanism. Of course that number of studies never goes below two. Practically I have never seen it go above 6(for something ridiculous like Reiki cures cancer). I’m pretty sure you know this and were just being a bit flippant.

You are correct though in that without properly powered trials, no hypothesis should affect behavior.

It appears the 'vaccine' is absolutely wreaking havoc on our military. The numbers are beyond disturbing.

COVID-19 vaccine booster drive is faltering in the US

NEW YORK -- The COVID-19 booster drive in the U.S. is losing steam, worrying health experts who have pleaded with Americans to get an extra shot to shore up their protection against the highly contagious omicron variant.

Just 40% of fully vaccinated Americans have received a booster dose, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. And the average number of booster shots dispensed per day in the U.S. has plummeted from a peak of 1 million in early December to about 490,000 as of last week.

Also, a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that Americans are more likely to see the initial vaccinations — rather than a booster — as essential.

“It’s clear that the booster effort is falling short,” said Jason Schwartz, a vaccine policy expert at Yale University.

Weird day for vaccines in my small slice of the world today. A sixty year old peer of my wife died of COVID today (not sure if he was vaxxed, but he was diabetic and obese). On the flip side a twenty one year old daughter of another peer died three days after receiving her second COVID shot with heart inflammation.

Finally, my nine year old niece (the one with a vaccine injury from when she was an infant that can’t walk or talk) had a grand mal seizure the other day and is in the final stages of her life as her organs are shutting down. She is rapidly dropping weight, and even with the feeding tube cannot process the nutrition as her organs are failing. It’s easy to dismiss someone as an anti-vaxxer, but until you have lived through watching your child suffer for eight of her nine years (she was just like any other baby her first year of life), I don’t know that you might feel the same way.

The institution screwed up with omicron and blew their cover since it was a weak variant yet they still instituted stringent restrictions amd mandates in many places which did not line up with the threat of the disease. Thus more people are catching on to the true nature of the scheme. Now the next inevitable variant will be a really strong one (perhaps purposely created and released from Fauci's commy lab in China once again) so they can dupe the sheep into giving up basic human rights and freedoms under the guise of health. Time to wake up.

It's clear from the data that the vaccination effort has stalled. Here are data from the CDC Covid Tracker. In spite of an initial surge in December in vac rates, here is where we are now in the US.

- 2nd vac rate 7-day moving average: 120,000/day... roughly 1% US population/month

- Booster 7-day rate: 400,000 and dropping steeply... <4%/month and dropping

- Boosted population: 85 million

- Population 1 vaxx: 251M

- Poputlation 2 vaxxed: 210M

- US Population age 5+: ~310M

The bottom line here is that everyone who wants to be vaxxed is vaxxed. The booster rate is falling way below where it would need to be to keep the current boosted population fully boosted.

What should be clear is that the focus now should be on early treatment. The FLCCC protocol appears to be very effective. NyQuil and the 1% Povidone-iodine nasal spray worked for me (74. Unvaxxed) and prevented my wife from getting it from me.

By the way, the term "early treatment" is being misused on these threads. Remdesivir is IV after hospitalization. That's LATE treatment. There is no early treatment currently recommended by the CDC. If you get covid, you're told to go home unless it gets worse. Treatment AFTER HOSPITALIZATION is not early treatment. Monoclonal antibodies aren't widely available and aren't given to everyone. Hence, they aren't early treatment in the sense of something everyone can do at the first sign of symptoms.

Vaxxed or unvaxxed, early treatments exist that you should be aware of, learn about, and make an informed decision on whether to use them.

Can’t find an actually helpful running thread on covid on this running website.

I finally came down with the virus last week. Symptoms started Monday/Tuesday. Tested positive Thursday but that’s when I was able to test — was definitely positive before then.

What’s the advice to return to running? I had mild to maybe medium symptoms. No fever but super fatigued. Couldn’t get out of bed Wednesday & Thursday. Felt like a bad cold Friday through Saturday. Started to feel better on Sunday. Never had a fever. Vaccinated & boosted.

Did a couple of easy & short indoor bike rides this week. Breathing felt a little off. Dk how to describe it. Throat felt maybe dry and or burning. Heart rate was super low like it always is. Went for a 20:00 run today & felt horrible from the jump. I’m 10 days post symptoms starting & feel good in general.

What’s normal at this stage? Do I stop running? Am I trying too soon? What have other people done in terms of a time frame for getting back?

Have you not ever run through a cold? Seriously what is wrong with you people. Do you not realize how insane you sound?
