and enduring image of what piggie is doing to our nation. leaving the dignified colonial architecture a crater with a crappy temporary circus attached.
1) Next Democratic administration doesn't go full force against ALL criminals and criminality in Trump 2.0.
2) Next Democratic administration doesn't destroy the ball room (and arch) on or about Inauguration Day.
such a hard question. going after trump has done a lot of damage here...that's why trump is president and a third of the nation thinks using DOJ to persecute the opposition is done and so what.
if he gets the ballrooom built, it's not coming down. that will be too late. If it's half built, that would be interesting.
what will come down on day 1 is the all the African dictator-chic gold piggie put up in the WH.

While I understand where you're coming from, I 100% disagree with the "hard" part. Rule of Law should ALWAYS come before the sentiments of bona fide anti-democratic deplorables, even if they amount to 35% of America.
And look what happened the last time we slow walked the Rule of Law. Trump wasn't convicted in the second impeachment, and came back. And Trump wasn't put in prison, and came back.
Making those mistakes AGAIN would be horribly irresponsible.
It is amazing that Trump keeps bragging about having "aced" his routine dementia tests and the media never seems interested in pressing him on it. The fact that he seriously thinks these "can you identify this common farm animal?" assessments are IQ tests is all the evidence anyone should need that his brain is fully melted.

what do you think about the successful NY prosecution of trump, now that we're a few years down the road?
Her case was funded by Reid Hoffman. That is a verified fact. She lied about everything.
If you were an intelligent human being, you would recognize that this is a criminal "investigation". And you would quickly recall that the DOJ- FBIhas a long standing policy of not announcing criminal investigations. But that was before Trump. During Trump 2.0 the criminal investigation leaks and formal announcements are weapons. They are designed to build narratives. Harass enemies of Trump. And to scare anyone from every blowing whistles on Trump's crimes.
But as a Trumper we can see that they worked on you.
Your guy is a rapist. Just own it.
E. Jean Carroll is a mental case. She called rape “sexy.” She "forgot" during her depositions that Democrat megadonor and Trump hater Reid Hoffman was funding her case.

Intellectual difficulty comparison:
Properly identifying common animals = Simply believing the old guys in uniforms telling you that all the cool explosions in the world won't stop shi*hole Iran from killing your economy and that of the entire world......indefinitely.

Not an expert on it, by a long shot. But if I recall, it was not a unique prosecution. And a jury found him guilty. And he could have appealed. And he was never punished one iota.
Was that the lynchpin for him winning in 2024? I highly doubt it. And even if it was, I'd rather have the Rule of Law and stupid voting, than NO Rule of Law (.....and probably STILL stupid/unethical voting).

The successful prosecution of Trump in NY was proper and right. But as a first time offender everyone knew the sentencing for conviction would be a slap on the wrist. Trump had 3 other very serious felony indictments in 3 other jurisdictions. Those penalties would have been more severe and of course, Trump would not be a first time offender then
The corrupt and unconstitutional SCOTUS ruling absolutely saved Trump because it killed the other cases. Clarence Thomas single handedly killed the bathroom documents case. Which was the strongest. That is why Trump and Cannon still will not allow the release of Jack Smith's 2nd report.
If SCOTUS did not save Trump, he would not be president today. Most people are oblivious to the details of the SCOTUS ruling. They just felt that SCOTUS "completely exonerated" Trump of all wrongdoing.
SCOTUS ruling allowed very dumb Americans to assume that Trump's narrative was the better one. That it was all a political witch hunt. Ask anyone on the street any details about Trump's indictments and they will give a deer in the headlights look.

Agree 100% with this. You can’t appease bad faith actors. They were effective in slowing the wheels of justice by screaming political prosecution and now look at them. You don’t meet bad faith actors halfway. You uphold the principles of law and democracy without favor.

The thing about the NY case – it's not just a nonviolent "crime", but it also was a nonviolent crime where nobody lost money.
This was written in June (2024) about his likely sentence: "It’s not without precedent that somebody convicted of a nonviolent felony for the first time could get a jail sentence, so it’s certainly not impossible. But I would be very surprised if that happened here given the facts of the case: it’s not only a nonviolent offense, but it’s not the sort of circumstances where someone was defrauded of money. And then there’s obviously the fact that he’s not just a wealthy man, but a former president who’s running for president again.
He cannot serve on a jury. BU LAW experts explain what rights the former president may or may not see restricted and how that could affect a Trump presidency

don't forget the portraits off all the presidents along his walkway where he berates all of his enemies like a middle school punk. The guy is an a-hole.
The Democrat running in Texas, James Talarico, turns out to be a FRAUD! It showed after the Election when he beat Low IQ Candidate Jasmine Crockett (No relation to Davy Crockett!). He’s got six Genders, insults to Jesus, only vegan food, was wearing a mask in 2023 and 2024, and is a weak, ineffective guy who we “allowed” to win prior to releasing the avalanche of information we had on him because, as bad as Crockett was as a Candidate, this guy is worse! I believe that any human being running against him, sick, incompetent, close to death or, even a child, would win.

meh the NY prosecution only existed because they looked at trump and said 'we need to find something on this guy.'
which is exactly what he is doing and the Dems are rightly complaining.
I'm all for prosecuting trumpers post 2028 if they obviously broke the law, but it has to be real and not just because they are trumpers.
