Calm down, grammar Nazi. No need to curse. None of your dem candidates will defeat Trump for POTUS next year.
Crackhead Hunter is still a deadbeat dad.

You are such an idiot. Hunter Biden's problems have nothing to do with Trump's crimes and assault on our democracy. Dumb*ss.

Turley is saying, if I’m translating the legalese correctly, that the Supreme Court can just stop an impeachment vote & say the President is whoever they want.
Sort of like Florida in 2000.

The report clearly shows bribery. Bribery will be one of the articles of impeachment.
And of course, the report does show high crimes and misdemeanors.
This report is not meant to be the articles of impeachment, which will show which actions map to which impeachable offenses. That comes later.
He won't read it. He's just a shill for Trump, a dumb*ss shill.

Sally is willing to interpret the constitution to the extent trump can remain above the law.
Not at all. I could not care less what happens with Trump. If he goes he goes. I DO care very much about the Constitution. Why I am very much opposed about doing away with the electoral college. Dems only want that eliminated because Hillary would have won with a popular vote and Dems dominate in hugely populous states like Calif. and NY. Again, I don't like this impeachment proceeding one bit but I find Trump to be a very vile man. Almost unworthy of the presidency but he was duly elected and the Dems have sworn to remove him from office ever since he was elected. Trump may be gone in 1 year or he may be gone in 5 years. If he goes to prison after he leaves office, that is fine with me. I DO NOT want him removed from office for this very lame Ukraine stuff.
Trump’s mascara is beginning to run, Ivanka may need to touch it up a bit.

STFU with the bribe is lame argument - you are a trumper to the bone
Sally means that putin will actually pay bonus rubles for impeachment.

I think certain aides should be allowed to testify. But not all. A president needs to have the ability to discussing things with his closest aides without them being called before Congress.
Executive privilege: exemption from legally enforced disclosure of communications within the executive branch of government when such disclosure would adversely affect the functions and decision-making processes of the executive branch.
OK Sally.
Note that:
1. No potential witness has cited executive privilege as their grounds for not appearing.
2. All witnesses are free to have a lawyer present and assert executive privilege as a basis for refusing to answer a question.
So given those two facts above, is there any reason for Mulvaney, Pompeo, and other administration officials to defy the lawful congressional subpoenas?
If they wanted to testify, I would say let them testify. I am frankly tired of people in the executive brand ignoring subpoenas and this happened with frequency during the Obama presidency. At the same time, members of Congress can't be subpoenaed. These last 3 years have been hugely disgusting and hugely exhausting. I am worn out. I have almost become an Anti-Trumper but the only thing that trumps (no pun intended) that for me is I am even more an anti-House Dems and anti-Mueller-investigation team when everyone on that investigative body were hard core Dems. Is that what you really want? A partisan witch hunt? Because the Mueller investigation WAS a partisan witch hunt and these impeachment proceedings, oh sorry - impeachment "inquiry" - is also a partisan witch hunt. Here is something you maybe didn't know - the House Dems actually did polling to decide what to charge Trump with. Just a clown show.

Turley has done a good job for them I must admit. And yes, as long as they stick to the same message they can keep trump's shield in tact.
If the Republicans stick to the message that Trump did no wrong or it wasn't that bad, then Democrats can keep having hearings and testimony for for the next 11 months, keeping the impeachment inquiry open.
You know Trump has done or will do some other offense that will need to be looked into.
For example, there has been no hearing on his emoluments violations.
And as he keeps blocking his tax returns and financial transactions, not only from the past but as a public figure, they can keep pressing in the courts and keep him under the microscope.
Trump wants the impeachment done with. Don't give that to him. Don't turn it over to the senate.
Once the primaries are over, the threat of Trump going after Republicans who rebel will be neutered in any swing states with a senate Republican or any senator not up for re-election.
There will be at least 20 Republican senators that may politically gain or have nothing to lose by going against Trump.

You are a liar and an idiot. You either don't give a sh!t about the Constitution or you don't know what it says. It doesn't matter if anyone was ever duly elected. If they violate the voter's trust and break the law and violate the Constitution, then they deserve to be impeached. You don't want him removed from office for this "very lame" Ukraine stuff? You're an idiot. He solicited not one but two countries to investigate his political rival. A US citizen! He held up monetary aid. He has obstructed Congress which was one of the articles of impeachment against Nixon. You are a partisan shill and an idiot. I don't understand why it is you think you know anything. You are a moron.

Very different. There are no appeals to the Supreme Court as presidential impeachment is exclusively the domain of the Congress.
