The days will keep piling up.

They've left themselves too much work to do. TONS of segments they'll have to fabricate from scratch in addition to massaging their existing data. It has to be error free and believable. It has to all make sense with their tracker, their photos, hr and cadence.

They initially intended to fabricate and release it all, but in the end it will be too much work and take too long. They'll give it up and decide not to finish.

I think they will not release anything. I think this carnival of grifters has moved on to their next freeloading scam. BTW what was the name of that self proclaimed award winning CCTV reporter that briefly appeared in Riobs video? He might deserve some LR research treatment.

Oh, I agree. But if people keep commenting on Fuller's essay, it will show how unnecessary and completely inexcusable the delays are. And how he, by not demanding the immediate and public release of all the data, is protecting a cheater.

Isn't it interesting that after Asher, the daytime miles are greater than the night and that becomes even more pronounced after Team Geezer show up...

I wonder if that RV is up for sale? I've an idea to turn it into a Sausage Roll and Espresso food truck that would cater to ultra events.

I just hate to see that " Trans-American Footrace Winner" thing without the context that there were 7 participants and the average age was almost 50.

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like the "core" group were intending to do the whole thing, or at least as far as they could. There were other individuals that joined in later in various places for a stage or two, but they were never listed as "core" group members who had run from the start. There were 16 core at the start, but only 7 left by Texas.

Of all the evidence presented so far, this one graph strikes me as the most damning. Of course one can imagine explanations other than cheating for why nighttime mileage tanks the moment the, ah, cheating is exposed. Maybe RY just pushed too hard early on, got too enthusiastic, and paid a price.

Ah, no. I don't think so. Much more tempting as an interpretation is that RY and his crew first did the cheat-from-the-van thing almost offhandedly, as a way to make up a little mileage on one particular day, and then realized what a godsend it was and began to exploit it--at which point Asher enters the picture and torpedoes that mileage-accumulating modality. Just boom! in the night. Then the geezers come on the scene. At that point you would expect heroics: a minimum, mileages equal to the early (pre-Asher) portion of the endeavor. But no. Everything crumbles and tanks.

The most incredible night midway through he ran 59.9mi in 8:30, on a section with a total of 750ft of descent. Such crap. I'd wager that Rob couldn't run 60mi in 8:30 even if he were fresh and trained for it.

Great graph, but it needs a line which combines the daily night and day times to show complete 24 hour distance.
