Read this book the first time- thought the man was incredible. Felt a bit pathetic that I had let my own training slip so much.
Read this book a second time- after following his record attempt across the USA- felt a bit gullible... okay massively gullible. You don't wake up at 3.30am one morning and run 26.2 miles, in the time claimed. You 100% do not then run another marathon that evening and then another one the following morning... and get quicker each time.

I find it terrible that someone could benefit from sales of books like this in the name of 'doing it for the kids'. I initially took this info at face value but have recently dug a bit deeper and found that this cleverly crafted profile is wholly fictitious. Don't take my word for it, do your own research. I can assure you that if you do, you will come to the conclusion that this book is riddled with lies.

The days will keep piling up.
They've left themselves too much work to do. TONS of segments they'll have to fabricate from scratch in addition to massaging their existing data. It has to be error free and believable. It has to all make sense with their tracker, their photos, hr and cadence.
They initially intended to fabricate and release it all, but in the end it will be too much work and take too long. They'll give it up and decide not to finish.
kinda like the transcon record.
