How long can Trump supporters continue living the lie?

1 That Russia didn't spearhead a massive campaign of misinformation, propaganda, cyber stealing and the planting of false social media stories and pretend leftist sites for the sole purpose of electing Donald Trump. (Believe our intelligence agencies not Vladimir)

2 The Mueler investigation found nothing and was a witch hunt. The investigation documented Russian interference, uncovered a great deal of corruption some resulting in arrests and found a number of incidences of obstruction of justice.

3 That Donald didn't extort Ukraine by with holding legally awarded money and a presidential meeting in order to force Zelensky to make a public announcement of a Biden investigation to enhance trumps re-election chances.

4 That Donald has done everything possible to hide the truth from the American people. He has illegally prevented witnesses from speaking the truth. He has blocked documents from being released. He has stopped press conferences where questions are asked, and has hidden his taxes. He has brutally attacked anyone who speaks the truth. He has attacked anyone not showing loyalty.

5 That Donald is not a lying narcissistic conman, but is only "triggering the press".

It's crazy to me but a number of Trump supporters believe these things. Why?

I think there are a variety of different reasons why Trump supporters deny reality for trump. Flagpole thinks they are dumb and/or are racist. That covers many but not all. Some are willfully ignorant. (May not be stupid in other areas just this one). From personal experience with some trump supporters, I think a number are angry, anti-establishment people. They had problems at some point and may have felt looked down upon. This fits with the high number of aggressive caricatures and repeated comments on this site such as "Democrats lose again" The intent here is not to inform or to put forth an argument, its intent is aggression. There is a reason why they have this need, maybe some past injury or flaw, but something makes Trumps approach resonate with them. I am not sure of the reason, but it's not simply political ideas.

I was driving the other day and the vehicle in front of me had a caricature picture of an angry kid pissing. How many people here think that driver was a trump supporter? That's my point.

The "evidence" so far is the opinions of diplomats who will be the first to admit, they have no firsthand knowledge Trump ever intended to bribe anyone. The person in best position as a first-hand witness, Zelensky, says it never happened.

1) You, me, or anyone else in this country has not seen a single piece of evidence that Russia spearheaded a "massive campaign" of disinformation. That's what we've been told. We were also told there were WMDs. Shall I go on? You might educate yourself on all hoaxes that the CIA is at the root of over the last 50+ years. Don't be a fool.

2) It's not just people on the right that agree that the Mueller investigation was a sham. There are more and more real, non-complicit, anti-corporate-Democrat Liberals that either have been saying all along, or are now agreeing, that it was all a BS hoax. ZERO charges against the infamous Carter Page. ZERO charges for anyone related to collusion. The Mueller Report explicitly states that it did not happen. Yet the yahoos on the Left continue to believe. What did it find? Oh yeah, the type of stuff the IRS should have found simply doing their job at some point over the last 40 years (Manafort was a big time lobbyist in DC since the 70s for Christ's sake!).

3) As pretty clearly exposed in last week's testimony, Trump did not extort the Ukraine in any way. Every single witness was asked if they heard any direction from Trump about QPQ, and every single witness said "no". Every. Single. One. And of course the Ukraine president said he felt no pressure.

4) None of the sentences in your #4 contain anything worthwhile to people that aren't scorned from the 2016 election. None of it is illegal.

5) He certainly owns the press. Look no further than his trip to Afghanistan for Thanksgiving. He posts a pic of himself with Rocky's body. Then sends a fake motor brigade to Mar-A-Lago. The press goes nuts and writes a bunch of stories about him believing he looks like Rocky and going golfing. Meanwhile, he's en route to feed the troops. He's exposing you guys and the MSM for what you are- GULLIBLE MORANS that get wrapped up in emotion rather than getting results.

Back to the Russia Hoax for a second. If there was indeed a reason to investigate Russia interefering in our elections, by all means investigate. But you do NOT intentionally

Why do you think the FBI / CIA neglected to inform candidate Trump of this "Russian interference campaign"? Hmmm. This isn't hard to figure out, folks. There's SO MANY holes in the Russia Hoax plot, which is why they've never convinced a single person to believe it that isn't anti-Trump.

All the players (Comey, Page, Strzok, etc) have testified that at the time of the Special Counsel appointment, there was ZERO evidence of Trump-Russia collusion. And yet, we were fed a steady stream of leaks and speculation from the intel community and the complicit MSM for almost 3 years.
