I just noticed something. In Flagpole's posts he never mentions specifics. It is always "Trump is a criminal" "Trump blah blah blah" but he never is specific in which crimes Trump committed. He has, in his mind, effectively "branded" Trump a criminal and that is all that Flagpole cares about. He doesn't care about the rule of law. He doesn't care about due process. Flagpole has decided Trump is a serial criminal so everything else goes out the window. No due process. No Trump defense at the impeachment hearing. If Flagpole had his way, he would take Trump out and hang him on the gallows at dawn with no due process. Flagpole it seems is judge, jury and executioner. Not how the government works. Fat Hurts, quit saying "we." "We" are doing a lot. We as in Americans. The US CO2 emissions have gone done quite a bit in recent years. The US has been doing quite a bit. None of this will matter if China and India continue on their current paths. Their CO2 emissions have been skyrocketing for 20 years. Unless we can reel them in, not much can be done to change things.

That sounds quite elitist. You are college educated and seem to feel you are above people with a perceived lower intelligence or something.
If some people can’t get accepted into a four year college or try community college and don’t complete it then it’s best that is on effort and not money concerns.
And the same pool of money that would go for college tuition would go for trade school if the person chooses that route.
Most young people start adulthood with no money but a need for education beyond high school.
The current system helps maintain income inequality and those that come from means, like your daughter.
