As far as trump getting involved in the Seals, his usual gameplan is to get into any situation that is unilateral (unlike most of his job, of course), creates publicity, gives him a chance to hire/fire/get a kickback.

The conservatives here are deranged. We CANNOT accept the election FULL results of 2016 ... BECAUSE TRUMP WON THE POPULAR VOTE! We LOVE the president AND appreciate and accept that he was elected BY RUSSIA. We have PURE derangement.
FIXED that for you.

I will bet you 1000-1 that what you say is wrong. My $1 to your $1000. Are you game for that? Or are you all smoke?
How would that bet work?
You pay me $1 when eternity ends?
(I think you got the numbers wrong. At least offer your $1000 to my $1, not your $1 to my $1000. Or will you only willing to risk $1 with eternity to pay it?)

I am not sure but I think Trump was a Seal when he was younger. I heard he maybe was a Seal team commander. Not sure thought.

Trump has the power to pardon. He does not have the power to stop a legal process.
"A federal pardon in the United States is the action of the President of the United States that completely sets aside or commutes (lessens) the punishment for a federal crime."
But, the Navy had not rendered a decision about the pardoned war crimes criminal who took trophy photos of a captive he, and three others, decided to murder. The Navy was determining whether to strip the murder of his medals. Trump intervened and forced a stop to the legal process.
"The president can clarify existing law by issuing an executive action, but executive action can not be used to create new laws."

And my version of the Trump Derangement Syndrome is you LIbs railing and trashing and excoriating Trump with the most vile comments ever since he was elected when nothing so far has been proven. Flagpole keeps calling him a criminal but by definition a criminal is one who has been convicted of a crime. Trump has never been convicted of a crime so he is YET no criminal. Remember when the modern day lynch mobs wanted to string Richard Jewell up for his role in the Olympic Atlanta bombings? And remember how he was eventually exonerated but the mobs still wanted to string him up? You have to wait until the justice system plays out.
Flagpole keeps saying Trump cheated at the 2016 election? Who the helll gave Flagpole the authority to decide who cheats at elections? NO ONE. The governing authority decides election fraud and SO FAR no election fraud was committed by the Trump campaign. Flagpole can live in his fantasy world but he does not decide who cheated, he does not decide who committed a crime, he does not decide squat ... he is some little person living in Cleveland (oh Lord!) who gets off deciding who should be a criminal, who committed election fraud, who should win the next election - and it is all FANTASY - FLAGPOLE IS A NOBODY. Republicans have made a deal for short term power in exchange for long term damage.
When Nixon acted corruptly, Republicans called him out on it in 74.
They suffered a loss in 76 but were able to come back gig time with Reagan.
There will never be another Republican president elected again.
The party will have to dissolve and come back in some other form.

You don't seem to be very clear on the concepts involved here.

1) The definition of "criminal" is - "a person who has committed a crime." It is NOT "a person who has been convicted of a crime." You know nothing. You need to ask questions ONLY.
2) Trump cheated in the 2016 election. He is Individual-1. FELONY campaign finance law violation and done for the specific reason to get elected. He was caught cheating. You know nothing. You need to ask questions ONLY.
3) I am not a little person. You know nothing. You need to ask questions ONLY.
4) I do not live in Cleveland. You know nothing. You need to ask questions ONLY.
5) My family would disagree that I'm a nobody. You know nothing. You need to ask questions ONLY.
6) I do not now and never have worked in a grocery store of any name. You know nothing. You need to ask questions ONLY.
You are 20% troll (this is where your a$$holeness comes from), and 80% outrageously stupid. Your a$$hole percentage is 100%.
You support a serial lying criminal President. You are an idiot.

Nope. YOU . . . ARE . . . WRONG. The president has no authority to changes, or create, laws. He can grant pardons after legal cases have run their course. But that is not what Trump did. He stepped into to STOP a military investigation that was in process.
A President can actually pardon people (not of state crimes) before they have been convicted. This is what Ford did for Nixon. Sorry, he has the authority to do this.

Trump did not pardon the Seal by his action. He STOPPED a military legal process. This has nothing to do with the power to pardon. It has to do with executive overreach, and meddling in the legal process before there is anything to pardon. In this case, before there is something new to add to the already granted pardon; restoring a military rank.
