Look, we all know that trump is behind this. but to break out of the D vs R thing it's got to be obvious and undeniable. For example, Nixon was fine with the Rs until the tapes came out that showed he tried to obstruct justice.
Trump's fine until something ties him directly to this. It's not quite there. It's a lot of one degree of separation.
Mulvaney probably made that link but it wasn't under oath.

The end result is not as important as the process needing to be done. He WILL be impeached, and rightfully so. So far the Republicans have shown they are willing to look the other way, and it is entirely possible that will continue through to the Senate. Right is right though, and he needs to have the scarlet letter of Impeachment.

Jesse - Are you not seeing the writing on the wall? This impeachment inquiry is finished. We are just going through the steps now. Trump will not get convicted and removed.
