I'm pretty sure that next week this testimony will be considered a lot less damning than the current headlines.
there is still no direct line to trump...in fact trump told sondland there is no quid pro quo.
and apparently volker testified the opposite - that he saw no quid pro quo from the WH.
this is damning to rudy and pompeo...it still doesn't get over the last meter to the West Wing.
the only way trump goes down is if he testifies... there isn't enough time for polls to reflect results that would motivate GOP senators to flip. This impeachment was always about Congress doing their jobs and politically it will hurt him next year.
Rudy is going to be under a lot of pressure here...he's already under federal criminal investigation...maybe he'll flip on the trumpster.
Rudy's not a total idiot, despite his idiotic activities...he knows how the game is played and he knows he's in a very vulnerable position.
if rudy says 'my convo with trump is not under attorney-client priviledge because of X' and then says that trump was in the loop, that would hurt spanks.
on the other hand, rudy could take the fall and say it was all his idea and trump knew nothing. Then hope for a pardon.
