Good news.
Let's close 'em all!!
You won't let us go to nuclear. Let's go totally solar and our energy costs would be 1,000 time what they are now. Your $100 utility bill would be $10,000. Yeah - that sounds sound!
On the contrary, I'm very much pro-nuclear because it doesn't emit greenhouse gases.
The reason new nuclear plants are not being built is because of exorbitant cost.
Solar is the cheapest form of energy out there. New bids for PPA's are coming in at less than 2 cents per kWh. Nothing else comes close.

Nice, Fat Hurts. Are solar costs really the cheapest. Can you confirm that?
Wow, sally, I wonder if you could recommend some cheap Russian fossil fuel to help us save money?

Yes, I can confirm that the lowest PPA bids are coming from solar projects.
Different kinds of power generation are used for different applications. But the lowest absolute bids today come from solar.

I don't need much energy for my double-wide but every bit helps.
gents,
on Predictit Mayor Pete is now the favorite in both Iowa and NH.
The Pete steamroller is steamrolling. Not quite predictive yet - too far out - butt meaningful.
But Predictit still has him third in the overall nomination. But the Obama echoes are clear as a bell. BHO also started screaming up the charts right around this time of the year....although the IA caucus was a month earlier that year.
Impeachment inquiry is missing legs. Joke really. Not a good reflection on the Democratic Party.
this is today, from the guy Rs said would save trump's tushie.
Instead, he confirms that sondland believed the whole thing was a quid pro quo.
He confirmed the story the Rs still deny: that ukraine would not get the aid unless they announced the investigations.
If sondland confirms this on live tv...I have to believe at least 3 R senators would join with the Ds in forcing Mitch to have a real trial.
It's looking very very bad for trump.

Obama made a famous anti Iraq invasion speech in 2003 and was the Democratic National Convention keynote speaker in 2004.
And was a US Senator.
Obama had some name recognition going into 2008.
Buttigieg is really coming out of nowhere for this in comparison.
The more they drag this impeachment hoax the worse it gets for the "Demwits."
No quid pro quo
No bribery
Clown show.

Not really an impeachable offense. The Democrats would be better off giving up on this nonsense and find an electable candidate—not Biden by the way.
So is the impeachment inquiry over like Rep. Michael R. Turner (R-Ohio) stated today?
“Ambassador Volker, you just like took apart their entire case,” Turner said.
Flagpole...any comments?
Impeachment circus score so far:
Butthurt Diplomats: 4
High Crimes & Misdemeanors: 0
Clown show.

Bribery is literally in the constitution as a reason to impeach.
Trump bribed Ukraine with military aid, in order to get a personal favor.

and more critically, Obama had the obvious potential to gain the support of african americans. Pete has near zero support of african americans and no clear way to get it.
He's going to come up against a brick wall in SC and Super Tuesday, unless he figures this out.
Presumably some a-a leader will endorse him, which could help.
Drop your overly partisan bias. No bribery, B.S. charge. Would not hold up in court. Have some common sense.
This is ridiculous. Trump clearly offered a QPQ. But none of it matters as far as Trumps presidency. Republicans and democrats will continue to play partisan politics above what is right. The republican ideal of strength and ethics has gone down the toilet with Trump. You just can’t get any more hypocritical if you’re a republican.

impeachment is obviously not a legal proceeding.
Hey, you want to excuse this kind of presidential activity and invite politicians including presidents to invite foreign nations to meddle in our elections and obstruct investigations... that's your prerogative.
Something like 70% of the country feels differently than you on this. Not partisan any more.
