But it was also a good 20F cooler at night with no sun, which is the logical time to have been running faster anyway.
Something else to note about that night time running however, is that when the Geezers came and he was observed constantly, he actually ran LESS at night and started taking night time nap breaks after midnight as he seemingly could not adjust to being forced to run at night... after 3 weeks of supposedly running 50+ miles a night!

Robs crew have said that he would often run behind, and allow the RV to drive on at running pace during the night, and would then signal them with his flashlight if he needed them to stop. I could see a situation where he could run behind and then climb aboard the ladder without the driver even noticing. Occasionally jumping down, letting the RV get a little way down the road and then signalling them to slow down. I'd think that at least one of the crew would have to be in on it, but not necessarily all of them.
His team and Laz confirmed there is a hatch in the back of the RV. Apparently so that he could store important stuff in there like a change of clothes, food... himself.
That's on the team1_segs_az sheet on Second Spreadsheet. I locked it awhile back to make sure it didn't get vandalized but feel free to clone and tweak for better effect. The graphics are tucked in way down at the bottom.
Looking at that histogram makes me think the RV had an easier time making 5:xx and 6:xx miles than 7:xx, 8:xx, and 9:xx miles...
After reading London Calling's post, I am starting to feel sorry for Rob. There is definitely something wrong upstairs. The volume of lies, cheating even way back when money wasn't involved doesn't make sense. Why do it?

As everyone else puts out, he's a decent guy but he needs help.

Wow. Any further info on the Ibiza race? Emails, website, etc. If the guy was DQ'd for course cutting at a triathlon in 2004, I think that would leave a lot of his believers gutted.
