Speaking of Brits, in his latest video Cole Gibbons says he’s not expecting as good a result in Valencia as he was a few weeks ago. Also says he’s going part time in his day job, to spend more time on content creation… maybe as he now as coaches and a nutritionist to pay for!

The full time British crowd all give the bankrolled by mom and dad vibes. Hugo Fry, Mary Mc carthy etc. Have a pretty big safety net to be able to risk it all for the full time gig.
He's incredibly privileged. However, he's at least funny and self deprecating. It seems, apart from RTJ, every full time runtuber is disliked!

Not to be a conspiracy nut but the sentiment for Bester on here has been extremely negative since day one, something to do with rip-off coaching/ shoving people on start lines? And within the last two weeks or so there have been a load of weird posts that read like bots praising Bester in a completely robotic/maybe even sarcastic way (e.g. 'he's the greatest runner in UK'). Then you get weird posts like this one that slyly lump him in with actual beloved YouTubers hoping that nobody calls it out, like a bizarre attempt to rehabilitate his image based on what a load of bots or clearly sarcastic trolls are saying. Very strange.

have you not heard about the suspisious views for some of Bester youtube vids... some have 400k views for a sh1tty POV parkrun - he has found a way to buy fake views to make his channel appear far more popular than it is, and i would guess hes also got his groupies to post on here to support him as it comes up on google searches linked to his scam of a coaching business
The sentiment against Nick comes entirely from the sirpoc crowd because they can't stand him beating their running jesus with traditional, well thought out training. They want to run fast without putting in the miles so a beautiful hard working runner like Bester irks them. It's pathetic but Nick is above them.

I was actually going to call this out too, as any negative comments seem to be flooded with a 'sirpoc' auto-reply. Needless to say, the negative Bester sentiment started wayyyyyyyyyy earlier than when sirpoc became well known on the boards and I am still struggling to see why he keeps coming up apart from it being a coordinated campaign? It's entirely one way I might add; noone is talking about Bester on sirpoc threads but someone/bots seems to be trying really hard to deflect to sirpoc whenever Bester gets heat...why? Can't say it's working very well as I still completely fail to see how the two are related.

Now that sirpoc has been exposed people are more than happy to invest into hard working guys like Bester who put in the work all day every day. The sirpoc crowd isn't made for working hard so they lash out.

This one’s on me, I’ve got no clue who Sirpoc is. But my dislike for Bester? That’s crystal clear. The man’s an athletic skid mark who’s milked the sport drier than Camille H*ron’s meat and two veg in a desert ultra. Scamming people, dragging the standard of coaching through the gutter, and making it unbearable to stand within 50 yards of anyone in his kit. If you want to strut around advertising his name, get copy-and-paste training plans, and bow to the Boomshalaka overlord, then go ahead, but honestly, those people need a full system reboot.

Doesn't really address the point that Bester was getting negative views (on unrelated things like the cost of his plans/club for what runners actually get and the results he has to show for his runners, behaviour in start pens that doesn't get shown on his videos, other attitude issues etc.) before anyone here had even heard of Sirpoc. Don't really think working hard, or not wanting to comes into it for hobbyjoggers - it's not a job so why does it matter if someone (wants to) work hard or not?
Really it's probably just a mix of trolls with varying levels of sophistication/commitment to their bit, some Bester alt accounts, plus a few club members.
