He has definitely done well with the talent he's had. And would do well with the talent at that school. But how will he bring in talent after that? He's only shot would be off of the results of the talent he would inherit. If he were to have to start from scratch those type of athletes there wouldn't have signed. The money isn't there, and won't be. Vanhoy would do a much better job in that system.

Not following your point. Are you saying that nobody will go to LSU? They're there now, but won't be after 'they' graduate? The money is there now, but "won't be" later?

Can't see Vanhoy going anywhere for at least a few years. He has a good thing going with what appears to be plenty of funding. Seems to be in a nice place why not ride it out for a bit? Wouldn't think the money would be a whole lot different elsewhere.

A lot of schools are doing that now to get around the full-time exemption pay laws. Typically you get paid year round still a normal salary, but aren't expected to show up to work more than 9 months out of a year. They use this to get around paying higher salaries. The limit was being raised to $47,500/year to be exempt from overtime pay, but i heard trump post-poned that law so I'm not sure the current status, but I'm assuming the 9 month job would pay under that.

Campbellsville University in KY is HC position is open (NAIA)...just wondering if anyone know what happened to Hillary Lakes?...leaving for greener pastures or was she canned for some reason? She's had several good results in their conference in recent years, so I can't imagine she would've been fired for performance issues.

I know this isn't a big time school, but it caught my interest since I used to live near that school.

I think what he/she was trying to say is that magness wont be able to recruit as well as KD did. Basically saying that they may have gone for less money to be coached by KD, whereas magness wouldn't have that same appeal and thus would have to have more aid at his disposal(which apparently isn't there).

sounds likes its just a track hire and shes staying on as the cross-country coach while she has her baby.
