Adults usually can read. You show you can't. Yes, I said most passed him when he was forced to a walk
Adults usually admit when they are wrong. You show you can't. You said that and you were wrong.
He was with the front group till 10k. After that point, when he was on his hands and knees and then reduced to a walk for several minutes, he ended up 34th. Whether other runners mostly passed him when he was walking or merely shuffling to the finish, it hardly matters. You failed to get the point I was making. You always do. It doesn't make the race any less of an embarrassment. Or you.
I missed the word "unlikely to win 1500m or break 5k WR". So apparently you think that his chances to do those are under 20 %. I wouldn't be a market maker in a betting site giving others 90 %+ odds to win 1500 m final.
What kind of winning probabilities you would give for Hocker, Kerr, Nuguse, Jakob and others for the Tokyo 1500m WC?
I don't think in terms of percentages. I think the other runners you mention are all possible winners, with an unpredicted dark horse in there somewhere. The race could be wide open. But given that it will likely be a kicker's race, as usual, it will be especially hard for Ingebrigtsen.
That absurdity, that no one passed him after he was reduced to a walk, was your claim, not mine.
And I never said that, you liar. You lie because you are unable to admit you are wrong.
You open your mouth without thinking. If most didn't pass him when he was walking (well, had the rest of the field also slowed to a walk out of respect?) then when did they pass him, since he was with the leaders at 10k. You are truly witless.

Ali changed his name because he considered "Cassius Clay" to be his "slave" name. It is profoundly disrespectful to call him that when he changed his name.
It is profoundly disrespectful to call athletes dopers when you have zero evidence against them. You don't know what respect is.

For Ingebrigtsen to be the best of this era over the 1500 going forward he has to win a global championship, which he hasn't done since 2021.
Let's see.
1960 Rome Olympics Boxing gold medalist: Cassius Clay - in any statistics.
If you start in 2019 or in 2022, Ingebrigtsen without any doubt is the no. 1 1500m runner. For the last 3 seasons you can argue for Kerr or Hocker (but for me it's definitely Ingebrigtsen).
Currently, looking at the most recent results, Ingebrigtsen also clearly is no. 1.
Will he win in Tokyo? We have to wait.
Clay changed his name to Muhammad Ali and continued his professional boxing career for years after under that name. Only someone with no knowledge of the history of the sport or a complete jerk would refer to him by a name he disowned.
I don't agree with you about Ingebrigtsen. He will have to win in Tokyo before I would acknowledge he is the best 1500/miler of his generation. If he doesn't - he isn't.

And yet Jakob changed his name and you haven't referred to him as Jakob Asserson Ingebrigtsen even once. It's about time people put some respect on the name Asserson.

You don`t have to agree, it`s a fact. He leads in any measure you might come up with for the last 4, 5 or 6 seasons.
Quite a few thought that. That doesn't mean I am wrong about the 5k.
It was completely obvious that 7:20.67 clearly was within his reach.
You just said he won`t break it because you don`t follow the sport and because you don`t want him to break it.
It wasn't completely obvious. No world record is obvious, which is why there are quite a few he is nowhere near despite saying he wants them all. But I am impressed at what likely doping has so far enabled.

No, he doesn't. The measure of failing to win outdoor global titles in his main event for years on end says otherwise. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

True, you can`t.
Numbers up to 100? Your problems start at 3, there are many examples for this.

For the last 4, 5 or 6 season he does - a fact. If you look only on the last 1, 2 or 3 seasons you can argue for Kerr or Hocker.
