No idea on track coach at Cumberlands but my high school sent athletes to them in the past in swimming and football. Its a great athletic sitution cheaper than state schools as a private university. Im a teacher in western Kentucky Paducah area and traditionally students don’t go that far away from home, but we are seeing more and more students head that way because it’s affordable and strong athletics. Supposedly every program is fully funded.

Only downside is you have to live in Kentucky. Aside from that basically every coach i've talked to from there says they have amazing support.

A hurdler who was on BU’s track and field team from 2017-21 alleged that Sanders tried to convert her from a short-distance hurdler to a long-distance hurdler. After the hurdler tried to protest the switch, Sanders accused them of “having no confidence” and told them “to see a psychiatrist,” the hurdler said.
They added there was an element of “body shaming,” as Sanders would tell them that they “did not look like a short sprinter.”
Eventually, the switch from short distance to long distance became too much to handle.
“I couldn’t say no,” the hurdler said. “That ended up putting a big toll on my body and I had a pretty bad hip injury that required surgery after I graduated, and it was really accelerated by the workouts I did because I just really wasn’t designed to be a longer runner.”

Calling BS on this athletes account. She complained that he tried to switch her main event from the 100H to the 400H. She most likely sucked at the 100H and was slow, then didn't want to train hard for the 400H.

Other kids complained and said they couldn't transfer. Complete BS. It is easier than ever to transfer. Kids complained that if they didn't get picked by another school that they may not have a scholarship next semester at BU, which is the NCAA rules.

Sounds like a bunch of entitled whiners at BU.

How about post your real name so folks can see if you are doing a good job. since you are on here tearing someone else down. Or are you even a coach?

As a former distance runner at BU. Admin required that we wear mask at all times, easy runs, hard runs, and even competitions. We would pull the mask down in order to breathe on our runs. Gabe used this to get rid of him. Gabe used Covid to insert fear and control into the team.
Oh by the way, our men’s team had 1 positive and women’s team had ZERO positive Covid test and we tested three times a week.

That's good! You were kept safe from a horrible illness.

Blame the administration, not Sanders. It was a university athletics rule, not Sanders rule.

That was the rule at most Universities in 2021 we had races that masks where mandatory It was a deadly pandemic!!!!!

I wouldn’t exactly call what Braden did coaching at all. Its more like collect a pay check getting poor results
