haters dont care about facts and stats. if Ive learned nothing from this site Ive learned that. make a declaration to confirm your bias and just pretend its true is the motto here among the bigots and misogynists and assorted trolls whether its about Jacob Ingebrigtsen or the fires in California or womens basketball. whats truly amusing is that if this person actually scrolled through "100+" posts they would have seen multiple posts siting figures disproving the very statement they chose to then make. try harder guys.

Paige may still end up going to LA if Dallas decides to take Olivia Miles instead. There is a lot of speculation on this because of OM's much improved three-point shooting. She is about the only top player I can think of who got significantly better after a long injury layoff.

I would still take Bueckers if the draft was today. as good as she is a basketball talent her greatest asset is her leadership. and that could translate well at the pro level. especially at Dallas where they are basically stripping down and starting over. especially so with Sabally leaving now. Im sure she wouldnt turn down a shot to play for LA though. Maybe well see a blockbuster trade on draft day.

Miles showed leadership today and might have to lead again with Hidalgo hurt. Ypu can't go wrong choosing either but as an old UConn/Geno fan (sorry Hobby Jogger) I'd go with Paige.
By the way, how about that Pitt comeback over SMU today. down 31 at half time they rallied hard in the second half and not only came all the way back but ran away with it! astonishing. they were down 46 - 14 with 90 seconds left in the first half and they wound up winning the game 72 - 59! tied the largest comeback in NCAA women's basketball history.
the official game stats just look bonkers. SMU shot 2 for 28 in the second half. Pitt outscored SMU 28 - 0 in the third quarter. 28 - 0!! Pittsburgh started the game 2 for 20 from the field. SMU didn't make one 2 point basket in the final three quarters of the game. all five of their made baskets in the final three quarters were three pointers. madness!

No one at Dallas has hinted they will draft Miles, and actually the new head coach praised Buckers in a recent podcast.
But there is another twist to this story. Paige could potentially come back for another year in college because of Covid. UConn will probably have a better shot at the title next season, and the rookie salary will be much higher next year under the new CBA. So there is upside to using the extra year of eligibility. She could leverage this to demand a sign-and-trade deal, if she does not want to go to Dallas.
