I may be biased. I am 0-2 in solo TT 10ks this year.

You’re a newer runner who is coming off of injury. I say get in a healthy 3-4 weeks and then a 5k on the track.

I suck at 3-5k , 10k oké and HM gives highest VDOT for me.

What does it mean "0-2", did not finish or how, do not understand?
Yes DNF. In fact I have never finished a 10k. Something about running that many laps on a track alone turns me into a head-case.
Thanks for voting to everybody.
Well,Slava, I don`t think it`s a good idea to make a TT now, When you will be back to the interval workouts I will found out from what you do there what shape you then are in and then there can be time for a TT . But you need pacer of some kind , A runner or cyclist to help you run close to all out.The treadmill is also a very good pacer but that time can`t be verified by GPS I suppose.
I do TTs at 5K and 10K on the road. I assumed that this would be more accurate for predicting longer road races?

Th: easy run

Fri: LT intervals (pace will be set after tuesday session) +30min wu/cd

So, this week will be 2 quality sessions, I cut bike riding to 8h, next week no biking at all, only running+strength training+surfing+rowing (if no wind, no swell) and windsurfing. Windsurfing will help to maintain aerobic base (as I usually 1-2h on water almost everyday all year season), if no wind or swell, I do 1h rowing on a sup every opportunity.

What again don't you like?
I think your plan looks good. Can't speak to the windsurfing and stuff as I have never done it.
Did you scrap the TT or still planning something?
On the contrary, I love it all. I think you should do a 5km tt to shut up all the haters.
Everyone has their own philosophy but I'm curious why you're doing 15-20x400m and some LT intervals your first running week back. You've been injured and haven't done any interval workouts in about four weeks.
Wouldn't a lower number of intervals be better? Maybe a light fartlek or a low key progression run until you have a few weeks of pain-free consistency? I'm worried you're jumping back into deep waters way too soon, which is tough for an experienced runner but if I remember correctly, you're still a newer runner.
Being motivated is a great thing but this is a sport where patience is greatly rewarded.
Ah ha ah ha , I like it!!
Just keep on the good work Canefis! The Dancan system takes you to your dream goals and with very good cross training. Go for it!

You can easily post with your registered handle. We know it’s you, don’t be shy
I think even Slava can figure this one out.

We will try on Tu 15-20x400 and see how it will go, I been minor injured only 1 week (last injury on left foot-overstretched small joint) which I extended to 10 days, not 4 weeks, but during all recovery days I completed 30h of biking without no any pain plus 9 days running including some fast strides in order to test legs and few days during easy running I injected 2-3 km at M pace.
LT workout under discussion with coach. Me also little afraid to make this week 2 quality session, thanks. Maybe I will make tomorrow no more than 15 reps to be safer.
