Anyone notice Lisa Smith-Batchen, who was previously effusive on RY's Facebook page, defending against the "haters", seems to have completely removed herself? I responded to a comment of hers a while ago and its gone from my activity log, as is any evidence of her around there.

She got tired of the jealous haters, or realized, after never running a single mile faster than like 13 minutes in the 5 days of her TransCon, that just maybe, RY was not really running all those 6 minutes miles...

Since ThunderThighs thinks our maps/graphs/numbers only overwhelm people, how about scraping together a picture timeline.

I'm thinking a "before" picture from the first days of the attempt, showing him doughy and pale.

Then a picture "after 30 days and 2000 miles through the desert and over the mountains" showing him still doughy and pale.

Then "5 days later after the Geezers show up" showing him burned and broken.

Any pics that would work for that?

Yes I think a nice before/after plastic surgery type of graphic, or collage, to go along with the graph would be cool.

Any post-geezer photo is good, he looks wrecked. The one chugging chocolate milk. The one standing with laz. The one laying down to get his feet checked. Contrast with Grand Canyon, juggling, most anything pre-Geezer looks like a SKINS photoshoot in comparison

He is clearly sunburned at that point. I think in later pics, right before Laz et al. turned up, he looked less sunburned. So he may have actually run a few miles out west.

noobrunner and others, I like the hypothesis-building re: when he ran and when he started to cut corners. I think this is a really good thread to pull on. It's fairly obvious by looking at when the fast miles started to come along when he started riding in the RV.

Finally, since so much has been made of the fast night miles (and in line with Asher's observation), I summarized the mileage and time spent running different paces (e.g., 5:xx, 6:xx, 7:xx, 8:xx, 9:xx, and 10:xx+) at different hours of the day. Fairly obvious he was logging most of the fast miles at night in the dark (when he was wearing his dark body suit). Sorry, the data only goes to Kansas (5/19 to 6/13).

I'm tempted to say londoncalling's info is the last nail in the coffin, but I think we are running out of coffin to stick all these nails.

I mean it's not a perfect distinction pre/post Geezer, pretty good though. And the point that they had all the free time to pretty him up for the cameras, blog about visiting the Grand Canyon etc etc, is also suspicious, considering that when the Geezers came it was basically just "we ran today, Rob is sore and it was hard".
