If your goal as an administration is to fight fraud and overspending, you don’t fire all the people in the federal government responsible for identifying fraud and overspending. Nor do you shut down entire agencies that are responsible for finding fraud and abuse.

Where did I say anything about corruption in my post? I’m simply calling for the end to subsidizing red states. If we can cap NIH indirect funding we should cap red state subsidies - they can only get federal aid up to the amount of federal tax dollars they contribute.

It takes no brilliance to fire hundreds of thousands of people randomly and without cause and freeze all govt. payments to achieve savings. Anyone could do what Musk is doing.
