I posted earlier on this thread I actually like some of Warren’s policies, especially on the banks and Wall Street. I will make a decision during the campaign. I think all the rest of the stuff on this thread is mostly nonsense. And that includes my posts. ?

The race has always been a group of moderates vs a group of liberals. Beto couldn't decide what he wanted to be lol.

The moderate vote is consolidated into Biden. The liberal vote is consolidating into Warren. Warren does not do as well as Biden with minorities. Biden will win because sane people elect moderates.

Beto didn’t strike me as a serious and mature enough candidate. If I’m Biden I’d be worried about getting tainted by a more liberal VP. It’s not a given that it would be strategic to diversify the ticket. Refer to Obama and Biden. You could end up alienating voters with either a centrist or more liberal VP, so if you think the whole left is motivated to vote trump out then maybe you don’t worry too much about the voters on the far left. Having a Pete could yield many more votes. Barely losing a general election in Texas won’t help Dems, it’s probably not worth having abeto on the ticket.

Pete is the other main competitor to Biden IMO. It’s still very early. He’s not going to box with Biden, instead he will bring his own fresh flavor of ideas and policies. I think he can surpass Biden like Obama did with Hillary in 2008.

I’m happy Beto is out.
