Are you really suggesting that it is fine and dandy for the Intel head to give an "interpretation" of Trump's call? Higher income people tend to live longer. If you factor that in, SS is much more regressive than you think.

They can also afford to delay their SS benefits, whether they "retire" from their day job or not. Say you retired at 65, but you decide not to claim SS until you are 70, your total benefit increases. Lower income people who depend on SS don't have that option.

The Poster said that Trump has had the highest deficits. That was in fact wrong. Can you dispute that or are you just an idiot who has no sense being here?

The two biggest motivators for voting are FEAR and ANGER. Trust me, the GOPers will turn out en masse in 2020--the President and GOP are masters of creating those emotions (and the hate that both engender).

The Dems and independents (like me) are less likely to turn out so heavily...unless they become very, very afraid and/or pissed. But the major media are much more likely to play the Republicans' game (because that means more sales/clicks).

It won't take an actual miracle, but it's going to take a bigger push than I've seen from the Dems so far--if they're going to get their people to the polls.

BTW Trump is still at 40+% in the polls--and he's going to *get* those votes.
