You can't post in that FB group. This UK ultra group refuse to allow anything to be posted about him. They just delete or immediately lock. Most refuse to accept Rob cheated.

The group is full of experienced ultra runners, many have done a run across America, yet most won't have a word said against him.

That wasn't so bad to begin with, as over here we tend to WAIT to prove people cheated, and not just pounce and declare guilt. But now it must be very obvious NO data will ever be released, yet still this UK group refuse to allow anyone to start a thread on him

I seriously doubt laz knows about the "sub 1 hour marathon" because that is just buried in the pile of flaming poo from here. He's reporting on what he saw and the large-scale overview of what he heard came before.

There have been so many different versions of "he did this!" and "he did that!" that it makes things really hard to follow. I made the same mistake by repeating that ESPN was never there, when in fact at least a crew that RY calls "ESPN" was briefly.

Make it simple, yall.

I also created a new tab and pasted the tracker data from 6/11 to the end. (excellent work saving that whoever it was)

It's not visible on the graph, but prior to Asher's post he was doing up to 20 consecutive miles at sub 7 pace.

After the geezers showed up, and he tried to put on a show, there were still no more than 1.5 consecutive miles ran at sub 7. Usually a only half mile here or there.

Nice work, 123green. Question. According to your new graphic, RY ran 10-12 miles a day faster than 7:00 pace on June 12, 13, 14 under geezer observation? Is that right? I thought Ray said he could only muster sub-8 pace for a mile or two and Ray slowly caught back up to him only doing 10:30/mile.

Ok. Are the sub-7 miles based on the data in the second tab labeled "DATA 6/11 TO END"? So for example, on 12 June at 5:32, spreadsheet line 598 has 3.0 minutes of running 0.458 miles at 6.55 mph (or about 6:33/mile pace)? And is that based on the tracker? And if the tracker was in the RV, then that could be the RV speeding up to get ahead of RY or catching up to him?

I'm just trying to make sure I understand the data correctly because I can't imagine him running 10-12 miles sub-7 on June 12, 13, 14. And if that's off, is the pre-Kansas data in the graphic off? Or am I misunderstanding it.

I'm just on mobile, but it looks like you are using the TomTom data? That overlaps, is missing a lot of mileage, etc etc lots of problems. Might be nice to see an analysis based only on the live tracker? At least, I think mixing the two data sources is a confounder.

pre 6/10 is tracker data at 12min intervals from the team1.kml tab

post 6/11 is tracker data at 3min intervals from the "data 6/11 to end tab"

Yes we can assume the tracker was in the RV from day 1. Overall they say they were rarely separated from rob. Still its true we may be seeing some sections where the RV was was catching up.The long sections of sub 7 pace pre kansas kinda negates that though.

Plus the shorter 3min intervals gives rob credit for short spurts of pace (or rv catchup) that the 12min intervals don't. If I normalized the post 6/11 data into 12min intervals it would wash out most of that sub 7 pace.

Also, I excluded anything faster than 5min pace, as that would most likely be the RV.

281 shares now. Shares are accelerating as fast as Rob's RV did on the downhills in the mountains. Or as fast as Skins' credibility is declining when it comes to matters of "honesty, transparency and good governance".

Yes would be interesting to smooth the 3 min data. And good call on the threshold - for example after the RV broke down it drove at traffic speeds for a while.
