Anyway, I've been asking people what grade they would give the Trump Administration to this point. My contention is that if you'd give it an A grade OR an F, you're uninformed, not paying attention, or not thinking enough about it--and we need voters/citizens who get informed, pay attention, and think!
So far I have not had one response that's other than A or F (or "beyond F," to quote one). To me, this perfectly exemplifies the our-team-versus-your-team, polarized mentality that I think has hurt American political discourse so badly. Grownups know that real life is actually messy, and that in almost every area there's gonna be stuff they like and stuff they don't.
So, to repeat: What grade, between A and F (noninclusive) would you give to the Trump Administration as a whole so far? And, if you wish: why?
What's your criteria for grading?
Here's the Redlands first grade report card template. How would you evaluate Trump, for instance, on page 2, as a "Community Contributor"? Personally, I find his work "unsatisfactory." Also, if I were his teacher, I would definitely check as an "Area of Concern" that his "behavior interferes with progress." I rather think a parent-teacher conference might be in order, don't you?

Excellent post. Thank you.
