You obviously don't have daughters. If you did, you would experience close up the trauma and emotion that comes with a child's first period. To have that period while sitting in class, and then go to the nurse and be told that they can't give you a tampon, so you'll just have to tough it out in front of your schoolmates, is pretty traumatic for a kid.
