What happened to Charlie Kirk is horrific. There is no place for that type of violence. That said, he was wrong in saying that some shootings are acceptable and necessary in order to protect our 2nd Amendment rights. 2nd Amendment rights can still exist without the shootings.

The fact that a lot of people saw him as a joke doesn't mean him getting assassinated isn't very dangerous for the stability of the US and perhaps beyond.
World leaders have to respond like this because people like yourself and adolt are unhinged. They have to do what they can to stop things from boiling over.
