It doesn't matter whether he's gay or a feminist or fits in with women. He's having these interactions with high school girls, minors. I read the story the girl wrote, and Matt if you're reading this, I think I get what you were going for telling a minor to sexualize your friend in it. I think you thought it would make for 'good writing', something raw and real in the realm of teenage angst and that to you it would make a more interesting story. This is the kind of critique a college professor might give in a creative writing workshop. But you can't do that WITH HIGHSCHOOLERS.
Because that's actual grooming, encouraging a girl to portray herself as sexually interested in an adult man. You can't just do something like that for the sake of 'the art'. These are real kids. They're vulnerable. They're in your care at a camp. You can't exploit them, you can't talk to them like you would an adult.
That interpretation of things gives you a MASSIVE benefit of the doubt Matt. That interpretation assumes you didn't actually intend to encourage and affirm a girl's sexual feelings for an adult man because you were trying to have sex with a teen girl or help your friend have sex with a teen girl. But no one has to, or should, give you that benefit of the doubt. You don't get that, when you're dealing with kids. We have to assume the worst when adults behave inappropriately with kids, for the protection of the kids.

Seeing all the images, texts, etc it’s clear the whole psychological dynamic set up of the camp (via team wisner and Crawford) was that the guys (leaders included) were going to be worshipped by the girls - there were no names on the girls side from this year with the track resume that would’ve equaled or overshadowed anyone on the boys side
Emma deleted her insta post from camp so it seems she is trying to distance herself. I don't picture her making any statements advocating for either side
