Originally i had sub 10:00 pace on there as well, but it got too busy. It was interesting to see that he pretty much ran all of his miles at sub 7 until he was accused, then immediately nothing under 10.

I wonder if it would muddy things up if you added the total miles run above that pace for each day, or the number of hours running and/or resting?

Any R/Shiny experts in here? Would be awesome to have a slider bar for min/mi threshold and watch the graph change!

Yes could do percentage of miles as well as total maybe.

Any chance of making this a google sheet at least?

This graphic tells us crystal clear that the RV had no trouble whatsoever traversing the mountain terrain. It is hilarious to think about what probably went on during these huge sub 7 days. I bet Dustin or whoever was driving probably got so tired that he could not keep the RV running slow enough. Ooops! Complete idiots!

After realising that the team1.kml had disappeared, I started monitoring and saving the locations.js. It's 3 minute samples of just the timestamp + lon/lat, and only starts from 10:53 on 11 June, so misses the interesting stuff.

Basement dwellers, you are approaching the media angle all wrong. You need to get the reporters to go through some of the claims in the book to show that the whole book is a big lie. Get the reporters to show that there is no record of Rob Young being on a professional cycling team and get them to show that Rob registered his websites over a year before he even claimed to have started running. And get them to expose how Rob was never a triathlete champ, but rather age group fodder.

We have to show that Rob constantly lies and cannot be trusted. Only then do you go into the current scam. You lead in with some bait to hook the readers and then you give them the full monty.

Awesome! 3 min time intervals for days! that's more accurate than the original team1.kml. how did you get that data?

I think someone is sweating a lot more now than he ever did while riding across the western U.S. in an air conditioned RV.

I suspect his biggest problem is that he doesn't have a continuous set of data. But will he get away with that with the sponsor and investigator if the gaps happen to coincide with the most controversial sessions?

I noticed the GPS data shows a 35 mi run starting at 10:10pm (which would include Emporia and the Lebo incident), and the next run starts around 3:37am (getting ready for the film crew at 4:00am?).

The blog also talks about not getting much rest because of the film crew. Maybe that was a good excuse to ride in the RV that night.

Well, notice on the Guardian article which is a UK media outlet, basically no one is defending or supporting him. It's only on Facebook where that happens and in that UK Ultra Facebook group.

Yep. That was Robert "the troll" Lopez in that news article. Trust me. There was a good reason he was kicked out of MM and HMM. But that's a story for another time.

I ll have no issues with calling him a cheat each lap I see him at Equinox. At the end of the day, he is lying, making money from his book, and who knows how many false claims he has stated. He is a complete wanker!!
