l am not sure they CAN do better. Kamala Harris was the most radical left senator and she was their candidate for the presidency. Tim Walz is about as loony as they come and he was their VP pick. It is a lost party and they are only going deeper and deeper into the woods. If they had selected a more moderate Dem for their candidate they probably would have won. But their party has gone so far radically left that moderates are ostracized by the party.

My theory that DOGE is going to be the propaganda microphone of the White House continues to look more real. Just like RU. They have released no reports, allowed no oversight or transparency. Nobody can fact check anything. You just have to accept it because Musk has all the data.

Griner was sentenced to 9.5 years. Biden did a prisoner exchange of a highly visible "bad guy" for her in 9 months. He did nothing to get Fogel out..who did 3 years plus out of 13 years on same charge essentially, Trump got him out in 3 weeks.
The biggest difference is Biden gave up a notorious arms dealer (the Merchant of Death) who still had 15 years of a 25 year sentence. Trump gave up a crypto money launderer who was almost at the end of his prison sentence anyhow (was sentenced to five years in 2020 by France).
