The ignorant who refuse proven vaccines Darwin themselves out of the gene pool. It is a slow but effective solution to eradicating the disease of ignorance.
not that simple. Few die of measles, but we'll all have to pay for the care of the poor magas.
and of course it's the kids who will suffer and possibly die, not their stupid, stupid, stupid anti-vax parents. The kids could be brilliant but if their parents are maga the kids are doomed.
True that vaxxing has had some effect on measle rates. But look at how many autistics we have running around society causing problems now. That's not good for anyone, having to deal with that at the cost of a few less measle patients.
It's really a scientific marvel: Dr. Trump's dementia has somehow infected his cult followers. You really feel compelled to defend EVERYTHING he does, don't you?
You don't see the difference between media depicting Obama as angelic and Trump depicting himself literally as Jesus while in the middle of a campaign of insults/intimidation against the Vatican for daring to extoll the virtues of peace? (Btw, there WAS controversy about the Newsweek cover; they were trying to create a stir!) Kindly acquire the smallest shred of dignity.
I did some digging into both of those covers.. One was written by a gay journalist that was obviously happy that Obama supported gay marriage. It looks like the other one is a fake.
So if you are an intelligent person your take away would be: Despite desperate efforts by right wing gaslighters, they can find no equivalency to compare to Trump's shamelessness. No whataboutisms available
All other topics aside, I just wanted to point out that there are absolutely no reasons to think (as contrasted with motives to wish, of which there might be plenty) that any kind of "eternal life" is available. When you're dead, you're done.
Imagine if a Dem threatened private business to do what the admin wants or else. Autocrats in the GOP.
BESSENT: We'll be looking at Treasury to keep the retail gas stations honest. 'You did this on the way up, you better be doing this on the way down.' And I'm sure the president will call out anybody who's a bad actor EISEN: That sounds like a warning BESSENT: I'm sure everybody will be a good actor
MAGAs if you want to see how an actual conservative acts and not be fooled by pig and Vance’s authoritarian warmongering clown show, take a look at Italy’s meloni.
Stolen:
Giorgia Meloni is the based leader of the day. In just 24 hours she: ✅ Suspended the automatic renewal of Italy’s defence agreement with Israel ✅ Publicly disavowed Trump ✅ Declared Trump’s attacks on Pope Leo XIV “unacceptable” and stood firmly with the Holy Father Meloni is the boss. 🇮🇹🇻🇦

Right wing hucksters lost their sh!t when K. Harris suggested any type of pricing controls during the debate. None of these people are to be taken seriously.

100% I did. If you really want to know, it was a sunrise service. The real question is, why does it matter to you? In addition, you couldn't possibly know the truth.
I won't ask you as I already know the answer.
What a sad eternal life you will have.
Ooops - looks like your eternity isn't going to be comfortable either.
Exodus 20:4-6 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God...
Can we just take a second here and admit something that the regime media and the foreign policy geniuses in Washington will never say out loud? President Trump just dropped the hammer on Iran—and it’s not just tough, it’s brilliant. Absolute chess move. After Tehran laughed in our face and refused to play ball on the terms we laid out—no more nuclear games, no more shaking down the world for passage through the Strait of Hormuz—Trump didn’t blink. He announced a full naval blockade of the Persian Gulf. No ships in, no ships out. And here’s the part that should have every oil trader and every globalist suit sweating through their overpriced suits: he’s redirecting those tankers straight to the Gulf of America. Buy American oil. Pay in U.S. dollars. End of story. Why is this genius? Let me break it down like the simple truth it is. First, it ends the extortion racket without sending a single American boot into another Middle Eastern quagmire. Iran thought they could turn the world’s most important oil choke point into their personal toll booth. Wrong. Trump just flipped the script: you don’t control the flow anymore. We do. The same Navy that’s been babysitting the planet for decades is now finally working for us. No more free security for countries that hate us while they get rich off our protection. Second, it supercharges American energy dominance. We’re sitting on more oil and gas than anyone else on Earth. Block the Gulf, prices spike everywhere else, and suddenly every country that needs crude—Europe, Asia, whoever—has one logical place to go: right here. Gulf of America terminals firing on all cylinders. American workers. American profits. American dollars. The petrodollar doesn’t just survive; it gets a shot of adrenaline straight to the heart. While the rest of the world scrambles, we’re printing money and telling our enemies to pound sand. Third, it exposes the whole rotten global order for what it is. For years, we’ve been told we have to play nice, subsidize everyone else’s defense, and let hostile regimes dictate energy prices. Trump just said: no thanks. This isn’t “escalation.” It’s accountability. Iran wanted to play pirate in international waters? Fine. Now they get to watch their economy choke while American energy booms. China and India want cheap oil? Better start buying it from the country that actually produces it instead of funding the mullahs who hate us. The usual suspects are already screaming about “warmongering” and “oil prices” and how this is all so very complicated. Spare me. The complicated part was pretending America wasn’t the strongest kid on the block. Trump just reminded everyone—especially our adversaries—that we don’t have to beg or bribe or negotiate from weakness. We set the terms now. This is what America First actually looks like when it’s executed by someone who means it. No forever wars. No blank checks. Just raw, unapologetic leverage that puts American workers, American energy, and American strength first. And the best part? The Iranians are the ones who forced his hand. They chose this. Trump just made them regret it. God bless the guy. In a town full of people who couldn’t negotiate their way out of a wet paper bag, he just reminded the world who runs the table

Except none of this is actually happening. Ships are getting through. None are going to American ports for their oil. Oil is still a globally traded commodity. This AI slop is merely the result of someone writing prompts who doesn’t understand how markets work.

It's an absolute myth, or a lie that MAGAs keep telling themselves to feel better, that Trump is in ANY way a free-market conservative. We've never had a president in the last 75 years that loves government interference in free enterprise and business the way Trump does. Global business taxes, price setting, forced investing in businesses, intervention/interference in business decisions, regulations, manipulating government financial stats, welfare checks to foreign bananas, yelling, spazzing, etc. And it's all impulsive, unplanned type stuff. Bessent tries to keep an educated, experienced eye on things, but he's reporting to a rage-aholic egomaniac who doesn't listen to anybody because he's the only genius on earth.

100% wrong and uninformed about the global oil market.
The oil the US produces and the oil Venezuela produces isn't fungible with Middle Eastern oil. It can't be refined into fuel as easily as Middle Eastern Oil. The US imports Middle Eastern oil for this exact reason.

Trump was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize medal, the FIFA peace prize, the Israel peace prize, and the Prince of Peace award. Nobody has received more peace prizes than he has.
Scooplet: Trump was presented today a Menorah as an award for his efforts to make peace in the Middle East.
The group, the Israel Heritage Foundation, visited him at Mar-a-Lago and called him a “Prince of Peace.” pic.twitter.com/9cYjszwOwo

He wasn't awarded the Nobel Peace Prize medal. She had no authority to award it. It wasn't an award. It wasn't tied to an official payment, compensation, or prize. Try again.
At most it was a gift.

At the risk of being too hopeful.....it seems reasonable to assume that each day we get closer to January 2029, the more American "leaders" of all kinds (including energy) will be worrying about Trump's desires as much as the rest of the world currently is.
