Robert Young fakes run across America

As long as nobody checks…reality control is easy.

Once people started checking on Robbie…reality control meltdown started.

Now we know he has been a pathological liar since at least 2004…and probably earlier.

Was it Robbie that decided to add 'avulsion' to his fracture?

That was really dumb. It was a fracture of his 5th toe. They reported it as his BIG (1st) toe. Whoops.

No. It was on the smallest toe of his foot. It was not an avulsion fracture.

Everything about Robbie is made bigger, better, faster, stronger, longer, and more awesome.

During the year when Robbie ran 10,178 miles, he averaged 27.88 miles per day for 365 days, with zero rest days. That is 195 miles per week for all 52 weeks of the year.

If you question any of his constructed reality…then you are a hater.

Just a quick note to respond to all the comments related to Rob Young on my most recent blog concerning Dustin Johnson.

First, thanks very much for reading it. 🙂

Second, thank you also for bringing the allegations about Robert Young’s record-breaking trans-continental attempt to my attention. Although almost all of you have given your comments by use of a first name only, and I have also received an anonymous email with similar allegations, I have read them and do take them seriously.

I have been assured by Rob, his manager and the Swiss-based SKINS staff member travelling with Rob that no ‘cheating’ occurred. Nonetheless, SKINS is true to its brand values and obviously these concerns warrant attention.

I have, therefore, made arrangements for this matter be investigated as soon as possible by an independent expert. I shall let you know who that is once their appointment is confirmed.

In addition to available data, the independent review will no doubt look at the comments on my blog also. If any of you wish to provide additional information that is not anonymous, you are welcome to do so.

Thanks again for your concern. You can be assured I want to find out what’s gone on here also.

the 36-year-old world record for the fastest run across America, Robert Young has withdrawn from the

attempted record breaking run due to medical reasons. Young was attempting to shatter American

Frank Giannino Jr.‘s feat set in 1980, when he trekked from San Francisco to New York City in 46 days,

eight hours, and 36 minutes.

Upon his arrival into Indianapolis last week, Young experienced soreness in a toe in his right foot, which

X-rays confirmed a cellulitus infection and fracture. After an intense therapy treatment of icing and

antibiotics, the decision was made by Young to renounce his pursuit of the record.

“We are incredibly proud of Robert’s attempt to set a new Guinness Book of World Record, especially an

achievement that requires such a physical demand on both the body and mind,” said Jaimie Fuller,

Chairman of SKINS. “Unfortunately we were confronted with several claims that Robert’s World Record

attempt was subject to cheating. We truly believe that Robert has done his attempt in an honest

manner without cheating. One of our own Swiss-based employees was with Robert from the very start

of the run and has reported regularly back to us that everything is above board. Nevertheless, SKINS is a

brand that stands for integrity and transparency in sport.”

Over the last four years, SKINS has actively campaigned on issues around honesty, transparency and

good governance. SKINS will appoint a qualified independent person with standing within the running

community to review Robert’s world record attempt in-depth, including his GPS data to investigate and

analyse the accusations that have been made, and will share these findings independently from Robert

or SKINS with the running community. SKINS will continue to work with Robert in the future, so he can

compete at the highest level in all of his upcoming races and record-attempting ventures.

Young’s journey across the United States commenced in Huntington Beach, CA, on Saturday, May 14

and ran through California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Illinois,

averaging more than 60 miles per day.

Independent review... could be good for us, or could just be a shill used to save face and sweep the dodgy data under the rug.

If the reviewer gets the data, will RY still release it to the public as he said he would?

Could the data already be doctored before reaching the 'independent reviewer'?

Is the reviewer actually independent?

The dude covers 50 miles in 7 hours overnight, then 17 miles over the next 11 daylight hours, then back to 61 miles overnight in 8.5 hours, then ... repeats. You get the idea. He is avoiding the sun you are just JEALOUS lets see you get out there and attempt this record!! /s

Here's our chance. LRC needs to appoint an independent investigator to work along side the one that SKINS is appointing. If the one from SKINS gets full access then we will actually have someone able to see the data. If the data is bogus, we'd have someone to at least point out that no data ever showed up. If it's truly independent, then LRC providing one at our own cost should be a non issue. Simply there to observe

This could be the way to not release the data. The independent reviewer could be someone not really independent.

Why did Jaimie say that SKINS would support Robbie in his future feats when Jaimie does not even know if Robbie is a cheating liar or not yet?

I think he should wait until the 'independent' review finds Robbie to be totally honest about everything.

It seems like he has already decided to back Robbie in the future.
