Yes, I distinctly remember the press conference with Biden and blow up of Trump's birthday card to Epstein posted behind him. And the dissemination by Biden of dozens or hundreds of other embarrassing things about Trump and his followers (AND cabinet members) since released from the FIRST half of the files.
Funny, though, that Biden didn't release the OTHER half of the files that Trump is still holding back. I guess there issn't anything bad in THAT half.
Proud rube.
Never ever see any of these posted on this misinformation thread..

Biden's DOJ could never release any of the Epstein files because there were criminal investigations still active and Maxwell had not exhausted all of her appeals. BTW, Trump's DOJ killed all the active investigations when he took over.
It is so simple that a child can understand it. But it is a bridge too far for Trumpers.
Nevertheless the "Trump is innocent because Biden would have been like Trump and used the files politically" cope is one that will always be written in stone. Just like the Mueller report exonerated Trump.
SCOTUS gave Biden immunity. He didn't hold back embarrassing/illegal things about Trump and his followers for the trivial legal reasons you list above (Rule of Law? Whatever). No, he didn't release them because there was NOTHING embarrassing or illegal in there about Trump. Simple.
“The most f*cked up aspect of this is the "DoorDash grandma" t-shirt she's wearing, and the implications of this: I checked and this is a pre-organized PR stunt between DoorDash and the White House (they boast about it on their website: about.doordash.com/en-us/news/das…). The lady - Sharon Simmons, "a grandmother of ten" who has "completed more than 14,000 deliveries" - isn't even from DC, they brought her over from Arkansas as a prop for this. Think about just how uniquely rotten things need to be in order for this to happen. She is literally a grandmother relying on gig work because she can't afford healthcare for her husband's stage-3 cancer. She doesn't even get paid a living wage and needs to rely on tips. And as an "independent contractor," she gets no benefits, no healthcare, no retirement. Which means she is an almost perfect illustration of the failure of the American social contract on almost every level: healthcare, labor rights, retirement, wages, etc. Any decent human being looking at her story - let alone policymakers - should feel only one thing: shame. Yet DoorDash and the White House looked at this woman and saw a photo op. They flew her from Arkansas, branded her "DoorDash grandma" and used her as a mascot for a tax tweak - no tax on tips - that wouldn't even begin to cover her husband's chemo sessions. Watching the actual video of her "delivery" to Trump (pbs.org/newshour/polit…) is almost unreal. Trump opens up by saying, smiling at the camera, "who says it looks staged? It doesn't." They immediately proceed to do a joint press conference to a bunch of journalists who were conveniently standing right there. None of the questions that follow during the next 15 minutes are related to Simmons' situation who just stands there. Journalists, the President, and cameras all obsessing over culture wars and the actual war in Iran, while the walking embodiment of the country's deepest structural failures - healthcare, labor, retirement - stands silently in a corporate t-shirt, unmentioned and too uncomfortable to confront.

I noticed she stopped posting in this thread. I hope she’s okay. With a degree from a third-tier community college, she could be really struggling in the Trump economy.

Oh, the generations of hearty laughter that Trump has gifted to historians.
A silver spooner businessman who got by by lying, cheating, stealing, and criming.

Straight shooter Trump on gas prices:
”I mean, I think so. It could be, it could be, or the same, or maybe a little bit higher, but it should be around the same.”
ELDER ABUSE ALERT!
First Tuesday in November. Rural Trumper loser who never voted before Trump and has to drive 30 minutes to vote. Get in the car and vote for some Republican they've never heard of, or save on really expensive gas?
remember, the political christians elected this man president twice. I think their judgment as a voting bloc should be called into question.
Piggie's week in the Devil's pilot chair:
It began on Easter, when Trump threatened to bomb Iran's power plants and bridges in a profanity-laced Truth Social post, and signed off with "Praise be to Allah."
Two days later, he warned Iran that "a whole civilization will die tonight" — appalling some of his closest former allies, including Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones and Candace Owens
. On Sunday night, Trump attacked Pope Leo XIV — the first American-born pope — as "WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy," furious that Leo had condemned his threats against the people of Iran.
Within the hour, Trump posted an AI-generated image of himself as a Christ-like figure — healing a bedridden man, flanked by bald eagles and the American flag.

How the hell is reducing immigration inflationary? And don’t give me $hit about illegals picking crops - labor is roughly 2-4% of the cost of produce. Lowering the demand for certain goods (eg housing) will lower the cost - rent has fallen to the lowest level in 4 years

Who Trump is fighting this week... Iran. The Pope. Bruce Springsteen. Riley Gaines. CBS. Candace Owens. Tucker Carlson. Polls. NATO. Biden (always) Umbrellas. Americans. Judges Melania. The human race. Reality. World peace. Voices in his head. Jesus Christ. (the real one)
Gaines finished 5th in one swim meet. Trump was elected president twice (and many people say three times). For what Trump has achieved, he’s relatively humble. I don’t expect a president or a billionaire - let alone both - to be humble, but, for what he’s achieved, he is surprisingly humble.

(trump decided that the illegal farmworkers can stay illegally despit being criminals. they aren't being booted, because farmers vote for him and are on the dole. I guess you all don't really mind illegal immigrants - you only care if they are in cities.)
as for how lower immigration can be inflationary:
if a bunch of companies lose their workers and have to pay more to get legal workers, they'll have to raise their prices to cover those higher wages. Those costs will be passed on to their customers. That's the definition of inflation.
But there are deflationary aspects of limiting immigration too, as you say.

Pope Leo knows nothing.
