If it was so short then why did everyone run pretty comparable times to what they had run previously in the season?

Only a handful of people got a ton faster, which is normal at a conference meet.

Many guys only PR'd by about 10-15 secs. Something that should happen if your training right.

Also why is everyone acting like God told Furman not to recruit or something? They could have if they wanted to. It's their own damn fault.

They werent allowed to scholarship so they were looking for walk-ons willing to pay over $50,000 a year. Easy right?

The whole conference PRd by almost a minute at SOCON; must be great coaches in the country with that kind of peaking ability.

This is a close one. I can see ASU winning over Davidson. Watch for a big performance from Taylor to help them get the W. WCU can finish as high as 3rd this year. Too bad they don't have Swimmer running for them this year. It really is painful to see how hard UNCG falls off after their 3rd runner. Elon looks really good and could finish top 4. Chatt isnt deep enough and they won't pull off the miracle this year. Furman might be better than we think... But they haven't shown enough this year for us to really know.

App will win- yawn.

Chat will devistatingly underperform and probably only have 5 guys finish- as always.

UNCG will get second- more than one but less than 10 points behind App.

Davidson will be a close third- yawn.

Top 3 will be close. Other than that it doesn't matter.

All better bow down to app state. Curio is absolutely the man. The Kenyans from Greensboro, the little rich schools, and even the pack from Davidson couldn't beat the true ballers from Boone.

They don't lose anyone either so next year will be more of the same!

Five of App's top six at the conference meet were seniors (the other is a junior, and he was their #4 guy).

With the cupboard so bare, maybe Curcio finally does leave for another job before next year?

Favorites are between Chattanooga (don't lose much) and UNCG (if they can find 2 decent runners.

It's funny to me that people doubt what furman is doing. They are about to bring in a top 5 class in the nation, depending on who commits maybe the best in the nation.

They will sh!t on the Slowcon for years to come
