He's being investigated for violation of state laws in NY and GA. Both of those investigations go being campaign finance. Also, the FEC handles civil, and not criminal, violations of election laws.

Indicated there might be a serious national security thread involving this case. Evidently Trump lied to him (big surprise right?) and that gave him legal liability and now he is perfectly willing to sing like a songbird instead of going down for Trump.

I have to give Kudos to those that said this pending arrest this week was BS. The DA confirmed in his letter that his arrest was a false Narrative put forth by Trump. I guess I forgot how immorally insidious Trump and his BS peddlers are in trying to spin narratives and get ahead of whatever is coming with methods like this.
