Vandy redirects with a stronger emphasis in distance. Goes for a candidate with that background. Vandy current staff to UofL
That would be a tough turnaround for Vanderbilt. They only just got that whole new staff a year or two ago. The team needs some stability. I doubt they reorient back to distance though. Before Althea Thomas they NTS’d at SECs. Now they have multiple nationals qualifiers.
CNU is keeping options open. Wingard has coached across the spectrum of events, so guessing he wants to hire best fit candidate no matter discipline and pick up the slack they don’t carry.
