"Govern for 50 years..." means "we'll crush the Democrats... and we'll be in power for a long time..." It doesn't mean, "we ran some calculations and there's a strong chance that we'll govern for exactly 50.00 years."
Stop trying to dissect everything this administration says and try to GET THE POINT of what they're saying. Because while you're running week-long stories about a word choice, or misspelled words in a tweet, or making up stuff about Russia, the non-Liberal, working class Democrat segment of the population that HRC didn't lose is looking at Trump and saying, "well, at least he's trying to address my concerns."
That's why he flipped 350+ counties that voted at least once for Obama.
But it doesn't appear that the Dem politicians are capable of learning how to be effective.
We just saw this play out in the health care debate. Trump called the bill "mean".But did Republicans really care what Trump thought about it? It's not like Trump was going to veto the bill. Trump will sign whatever the Republicans send to him. Trump has no power or influence at all. He's out of the game.
