I agree with Iggy on two points, it will get nastier and everyone certainly does lose.

But here's the deal Trump not only breaks the law he does so flagrantly daring anyone to hold him accountable. We are at a point where not only Trump will be on trial and but even more critically, we are on trial as a nation. We will find out who we are. Do we accept the flagrant abuse of our laws. Is this acceptable with our system and our people.

We will soon find out the verdict to that.

I say nothing happens to Trump, heck he may even get elected to a second term. Nothing comes of the Biden stuff. The only thing to come of this is that Republicans are exposed as the frauds they have always been. No more moral high horse, no more "law and order" party, ...

I think people are often more honest when they post anonymously when the posts are hateful.

It's hard to wear their hoods and sheets in public but posting online is a way to get it out.

The Kavanaugh process and the Mueller process were both VERY American...legal and proper.

I do not HATE Trump and certainly not Republicans. But, my DISLIKE for Trump is earned by Trump's behavior. There is no inherent dislike.

It will get nastier. Not sure what you consider a win, but Trump is going to be impeached and removed over this. Always a sad day for American when we have a rogue President. In my lifetime Nixon was the first one, and now we have Trump who is MUCH worse. (while Clinton wasn't a rogue President, his behavior warranted impeachment and in my opinion lying under oath should have been cause for removal).

You have attached your sense of right and wrong and self to Trump. You are NOT Trump, brother. He has betrayed the country, and it is OK for you to recognize that and cut the ties.

This is all true. We all lose because of Trump. We lose MORE if we don't remove him. Justice must prevail here. Our national security and our reputation as a nation is at stake.

Trump felt empowered after the Mueller Report came out (not sure why because he's still on the hook for many things), and so we saw what began as whistle blower info on Ukraine. I can not even imagine what abuses of power he would take up if he had another term.

This is all getting worse and worse as I said it would, and it's going to get worse yet...worse for Trump. He has openly broken the law now. We have some texts that seem to show a quid pro quo (which isn't even necessary but which brings this up to a new level of wrong - bribery). He WILL be impeached. His poll numbers are dropping like a stone. The Senate would be right to remove him, and I think they will (unless Trump resigns first which is a possibility). It's a shame that what will cause the Senate to act is that they will see that he has no chance to win again in 2020. It should just be the criminality that makes them act.
