And? No contact orders don't mean anything if the person is still in contact with the program through an intermediary, specifically his wife, or otherwise. Let's recall what when Nick Johnson was removed he was replaced by...his wife. Do you think that disassociated him from the program? That was a farce. Here Lauren is still publicly in contact with the program's athletes, and presumably Nick as well. It is not rocket science. Nor is a no contact order some sacred writ that no one violates. If the athletes still see themselves as coached by the Johnsons and are still contacting them, you can point to any order you care to and it amounts to nothing.
It requires a extreme credulity to think the Johnsons are not still directly connected to the program. It has been documented publicly. And to try to separate an apparent doping violation from the recent allegations that they were running a program with doping as a feature is pointless. Like I said, it reflects at the least a significant loss of institutional control.
to add onto this Astro, I definitely agree that Nick is still involved, we all accept that Sean Brosnan is still involved with Newbury Park even though his wife is the new coach, most of us think Salazar is behind the seems with union athletic club. it's foolish to think that Nick isn't communicating/working with Huntington in some capacity. I do however think Lydiaruns has a point about how we shouldn't try and police a young woman's actions (despite how many bad influences and history there is) as long as it follows the law.
