I disagree with Nancy Pelosi when she says that this is not a time for celebrating but is a sad time. Trump after all the times he has lied, cheated, and falsely attacked is finally in a situation where he is being held accountable. Our system of checks and balances is not completely dead.

I will celebrate when he is out of office and the violence has died down. But not before that.

X-Runner: I never really posted here until the last year. Don't quote me on that - but the discourse seemed a bit too strident and venomous. I joined the fray I think about a year ago and was not disappointed. I promise you I am not Disco Gary - the Liberals here can ravage many of the most sincere and open-minded conservatives. Perhaps that is why there are only 3 (it seems only 3 posting here regularly) and we all have pretty thick skins.

I am not sure why I would ever be called hyper-partisan. I have said and will continue to say that Liberals are trying to overturn the 2016 election. Is that hyper-partisan? I don't think so.

I think Joe Biden and Hunter need to be looked in to. One person here said that has already been looked into and they concluded that nothing there. Well, no one to my knowledge in the US looked into it. Why are Liberals so afraid to delved into whether Joe Biden committed corruption? Trump has been investigated for 3 years - why not Joe Biden for one month? Oh - maybe he IS corrupt?

I am asking this in earnest. Did the US investigate this potential wrongdoing by Biden and son or was it some rogue Ukranian prosecutor who absolved the Bidens of any wrongdoing. Again, did the US government clear him or did some hack prosecutor who maybe had his palms greased who cleared the duo?

I think you meant "county." Fortunately, we have always had peaceful transitions. As much as I hate what the Liberals have done, if Trump would be impeached and convicted and removed I hope and expect that he would go voluntarily and the republic would carry on as it was designed by the Founders. We have spats but so far the spats have been orderly and that is why this country is so great.
