Trump has surrounded himself with sycophants who will never tell him about the consequences of his impulse actions. This is assuming any of them actually know anything about the jobs they are supposed to be doing, which most do not. They were hired for loyalty and led by an impulsive, insecure, lying egomaniac.
Trump's plan has always been to dominate the news cycle. There is nothing more, no depth. This war distracted from ICE killing US citizens and Epstein files. There was no justification or plan beyond that. That is why war reasons and goals change by the hour.
The consequences of the war that were obvious to the most basic thinking individual are surprising Trump and his team everyday. Straight of Hormuz closing, Iran retaliating against Israel, US bases and other countries in the region. Russia feeding intelligence to Iran. Global oil price rise. Instability. Investments stopped. All of this was easily foreseeable.

It might be, I am being honest, people may have to buck up for another three months for Gas prices to move back and lower than jump off point for this whole thing. BUT, a huge but, we are pumping more oil than ever , over the 5 year average, this alone can help mitigate bigger upward shift. Amazing on here that Biden's $5.00 National average was seen as a blip?
