Since Donald Trump became president, 30 state legislature seats have flipped from Republican to Democrat, including the Florida district that includes Mar-a-Lago. Zero seats have gone from Democrat to Republican during that same time.
This is significant because Trump's election was supposed to crush the spirit of Democrats and Independents and pave the way for nonstop MAGA victory. MAGA was supposed to be 30-0 at flipped seats at this point, not 0-30. It reveals how badly MAGA has squandered its advantage. Democrats and Independents were supposed to be hopeless and despondent at this point, not feeling a sense of momentum.
MAGA just hasn't lived up to its hype, and everyone has noticed.

This statement strongly implies that members of Congress were informed by the administration today that ground operations are all but declared on Iranian territory. Let me categorically state: there is nothing of strategic significance such a tiny force of a few thousand marines and airborne troops could accomplish. It will not open the Straits. It will not compel the Iranian gov to collapse or surrender. Sending these men into combat on a militarily unattainable mission is reprehensible. If the president orders this operation, all the casualties that result will be an egregious and flagrant sacrifice of their lives to satisfy one man’s pride and arrogance, but in no way, shape or form, will they have died defending their country. If I were a family member of any of these troops and my loved one was sent to death for the vanity of one man, I would be outraged. As it turns out, I am outraged anyway, and all Americans should be if the lives of our service members are held in such content by our political leadership.

With the Trump DOJ being the defendant, that lawsuit by Flynn becomes a bogus sweetheart suit. The parties are not adversarial. I wish judges would refuse these types of settlement agreements and make the parties try the case. Flynn would have lost, even if Trump brought in Hannigans for an attempted flop. He pled guilty, ffs. How do you make $1.2 million in cold hard American cash by pleading guilty to crimes. That fvcker should be paying us taxpayers $1.2 million for being a lying d!ckhead.
You can bet we will see a lot of new lawsuits by Capitol rioters, like Spazzola, Biggs, Eyeballs Stewart, Rehl, Muglet and hundreds of others looking to cash in at the expense of the American taxpayer. And Trump/Bondie will start writing checks to those criminals.
There were a lot of sweetheart suits brought and "settled" by rioters/looters in summer of 2020 against Democrat run jurisdictions. Total fraud. I think Philadelphia or some town near Philadelphia actually admitted they were trying to send a windfall to a bunch of scumbag looters out of their litigation contingency fund. Total fraud. Pisses me off that judges allow this stuff. I should sue someone and claim millions for enhanced aggrevious aggravationism. It's insidious.

At the risk of sounding like I'm impugning all military officers (I'm one of them, and I'm not), a reminder that Flynn was a career intelligence officer, rose to 3-star General, and in that rank commanded the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). I say this as a reminder to any of you who might be surprised that so many in the military are apparently going along with Trump and Hegseth. Like any other institution, the military is FAR from perfect in assuring the integrity and character of all of its members, including its most senior leaders.
