Roger Stone still has a trial coming up related to Wikileaks and the hacking of Democrats to help Trump’s 2016 election.

That’s still pretty relevant here.

He’s not back in the equation, it’s one if those things hanging out there.

Michael Flynn hasn’t been sentenced yet either.

And Cohen’s co-conspirator hasn’t been tried yet either.

And yes, I agree: There are multiple other ongoing legal actions. Those don't stop just because another (alleged) scandal has hit the Trump Administration. Roger Stone deserves his day in court.

This is just one of the many corrupt things Trump has done. Hold 400 million dollars from the Ukraine, meet with Zelensky and remind him how very very good we we've been to this country. Zelensky asks to buy weapons and Trump says, "I want you to do me a favor THOUGH" The word though is huge here. It implies the quid pro quo very clearly. After the meeting the money is released. Trump has conflicting reasons why the money was held back and no reason why is was given when it was. He strong armed a foreign government to investigate a political opponent. He also indicated that BARR would be involved in this.

This is a big deal but the big Republican talking point, readily picked up by many posters here, is so what? Maybe he shouldn't of done that, but no big deal. But it is illegal and its a huge abuse of power.

I actually don't think this will have any major effect on the election other than causing even more animosity between the tribes. Some fence sitting independents might get tired of the Trump nonsense and move to the other side, but some trumpsters might be riled up and be more likely to vote.

The lying and the dirt from the Republican machine will be at full speed. Ethics be damned. Our intelligence has already told us the Russia will still be very involved (obviously to re-elect Trump). Not looking forward to all the crap we will see and hear.

Dems are very close for the number needed to impeach in the House (218 votes needed, there are already 215 declared impeach votes in the House). Per multiple news outlets, 30(!) GOP Senators are ready to convict based on what they have seen tonight in the whistle blower complaint.

In addition to Romney, Ben Sasse (R-NE) has now made public negative comments about Trump’s Ukraine debacle.

I never thought it would happen but I think we may be witnessing the first removal of a POTUS from office.

Pretty sure the article has been deprecated over the past 20 years and I believe (as I posted in another thread) that using the article is to suggest that Ukraine is still a Russian/Soviet territory in the same way the US would call farm belt states "the Midwest." So a Ukrainian might take offense to it.
