Does anyone else find this terrifying? I don't understand why this isn't a bigger issue. We're headed towards a collapse of the country if we don't reign this in.
CG 2,
Worth your time, Jeffrey Gundlach, Doubleline Capital. “Man Leaving a Bus: What Dies It Mean?”
You should see the movie Inside Llewyn Davis if you haven't already. It deals with exactly this.
The musical soundtrack in it is really good, too!
I've heard a lot about it but have never watched it. I will it move to the top of my to-watch list.
We were talking about this movie in light of the new Dylan biopic, and i thought that in light of recent events herein, it may be an opportunity to pull about one of the sweet songs from that soundtrack.
One was suggesting we have a little send off for FP on Monday to bid him a fond farewell, and that probably just got misinterpreted or swept up in the scuffle. Still holding out for that.
OThers involved just making mention of the previous topic that got deleted.

Nice close to the week on the markets, fwiw.
Maybe the Brojos are using AI to moderate the threads? I had a post removed from the "What are you listening to now" thread recently. It consisted of 2 songs by the late Sandy Denny on her birthday; "Who Knows Where the Time Goes" and "Autopsy" from her Fairport Convention* days. I don't see what the problem could be, yet a while back I had posted "212" by Azealia Banks^ and there was no problem!
*Saw Fairport Convention along with Traffic and Mott the Hoople at The Fillmore East in the Spring of 1970. Unfortunately, Denny had left the group in late 69.
^I'd be shocked if any of you are familiar with this song and video. A young woman of color looking innocent as can be with pigtails and a Mickey Mouse shirt rapping very inappropriate lyrics. 212 is a NYC area code.

that would make sense about AI for moderating, and likewise, i had a few things get deleted for no apparent reason.
Can't say that I know of those songs in particular, though listening to them now, and lordy, lordy, those are a couple of gems! Autopsy is so perfect as her accoustic version as opposed to the Fairport Convention version. Thanks for that.
I like all three of the bands mentioned, and would give an arm and leg to have seen them, though I was a bit too young to get out at that time.
