I do wish that most or all of the defenses of USAID that I see and hear in the press started with Numero Uno, namely, that juicy gotcha anecdotes (possibly silly funding) aside, we're not SUPPOSED to have a king that gets to unilaterally erase agencies.

THAT is the huge and dangerous problem.

I do find this post interesting: he typically only mentions the college(s) people went to if they're "good" / prestigious (however you define it), though I have occasionally seen it mentioned for smaller, more regional ones...but I looked him up and he went to Duke undergrad. strange
