Well, the last Administration thru stupidly inflationary money printing and unhinged spending created a 10-20% tax that will likely be with us for a decade. And I am not defending the stupid stuff the Republicans pushed in the previous Administration. Unfortunately leadership is non-existent at almost every level of government.

Andy Constan @dampedspring I have made fun of the crowds at soft landing island. Today markets are entering the new year in uncharted territory. I see no safe passage for assets. Not even a soft landing makes sense for balanced portfolios of short term bonds, TIPS, long term bonds, stocks and gold. One or more of these holdings will wipe out the gains in others.
