I don't hate Nedd, why?? I just don't see data that they claim they have.
Do you need me to teach you how to download the data?
Still can't read English I see. You are the self proclaimed data analyst/manipulator....I am not interested in his Master Laps. But if you find a way of hacking into the timing company's non existent raw data from the decoders, with time of day reads of RFID chips you can give it a crack.
Am interested whether NB goes for completing the 1000mi OR pulls the pin after 10 days. Anyone know the plan?
Coach Matty Abel @bruh we won’t be kicked out. Show goes on
On the TikTok chat just now, people were asking the coach what the plan is re the booking of the stadium/the run. So I guess Nedd's still aiming to complete the 1000 miles.
12.00pm Saturday 211 hours 1182km 10min 42sec per km
Projected 1,000 mile finish at current overall pace, 11 days 23 hours, Tuesday 4pm.
Currently 173km behind record pace 9min20sec per km/1355kms
Pace now required to beat the record 5min 28sec per km.
If he keeps his day one pace for 48 hours straight and just doesn’t sleep he’ll get there. I believe, anyone who doesn’t believe he’s capable of this is just a hater
Only problem is he has only 38 hours to 10 days and 10 hrs

I couldn’t work out how those Strava files are done, but I think I do now..
they only put the master laps in for the data? That’s why it’s metronomic km pace for 12 k… then changes to another metronomic 12 kms?
I'm intrigued by the Strava files as well. He was transparent in stating that the pace for each km would be generated from the time taken to complete a master lap, so it will be same pace across 12-13km blocks.
But if that's being generated from the timing chip, where does the GPS and altitudinal data come from? The GPS seems to respect the lanes somewhat as well.
Well done Bob. All I can say is that someone that is trained to run a fast half can do so easily. Surely no matter who you are or how trained you are it can’t be easy to run 135km(84miles)/day.
I'd be shocked if 15% of the money "raised" actually goes to Mobilise.
I saw four different security guards at the athletics track when I was in the area on Wednesday, preventing people from getting to view the run. There's also track booking, keeping the coaching/media/medical team on the payroll, timing equipment, event planning, EMT at the venue and paid media coverage. It all adds up and people donating are being taken for a ride.
There is a heavy sponsorship. I'm less sceptical. I reckon business is not only laying for the track, but also the team and Nedd, which is why I'm fairly confident they will go beyond 10 days as they are getting more exposure. Ask the charity after? I reckon they'll get it all.

Intrigued is one way of putting it. I can't see the strava data, but 'if' there is a timing chip/timing system, then there would be data for each and every lap...not just a so called 'master lap'.

Did you happen to notice the sheer amount of sponsor logos when you were there on Wednesday? Imagine if they were funding this event……. Just imagine…….
